Actually read this book back in January (2015), and never marked I read it, (and it's definitely not because I didn't like it...) Found this little review on my computer, it was about time I put it here
5 "Dreamy Scottish boys" stars
Even thought this book was highly recommend to me, I always push it in the corner of my mind, always putting other books before. The other day, I was at the bookstore and I just saw it there, and I just said to myself: “Maybe it’s about time”.
I started it. Only at the prologue, and I was hooked. I devoured it.
Every. Single. Word.
For hours straight I couldn’t move. I didn’t want to move, not before I finished this book.
Ever felt like you wanted to punch yourself because you didn’t read a book when you sure as hell could have read it way before?
Well, I did.
Because, this book, blew my mind.
5/5
The best part is the voice in my head turning Scottish during the dialogue...I can already see me diving into the series for the next couple of weeks

A steamy, romantic page-turner! It is easy to love all the characters, especially when Braden says the sexiest things any man could possibly say! (However, he is no Travis Maddox, lol) Great read! Very fun and hard to put down.

Oh....where to begin...?
I am head over heels in love with Braden Carmichael! And with the book!
Samantha Young is a great writer. On Dublin Street was the first book by her that I was reading and her debut in Adult Fiction and let me tell you that she blew my mind!
From the characters that I loved without exception (OK I didn't like the Blondes...but who would ?), to the relationship of the main characters and secondary characters, to the emotional stuff Joss and Braden (and Ellie and Adam) were dealing with, to the sex scenes...Oh God! The SEX SCENES!!!!!!!!!
Well you get my point. I loved the book through and through. Joss' voice is very nice and often very funny. The pace of the novel was perfect, never too slow or too fast.
The banter between her and Braden was hylarious. I often found myself holding my stomach, I was laughing so hard!
The city was described in such a way that I totally want to visit Edinburgh (and maybe cross path with a Braden while catching a cab...!)
The Carmichael family and the memories Joss had of her parents were so sweet.
The emotional crisis the characters delt with felt real and authentic.
I could go on and on like this but even then I couldn't describe with words how great this novel was. I was hooked from the first line to the last!
READ THIS BOOK! READ IT NOW! READ IT!....Am I being too bossy here?

Not usually a fan of books written in first person but Young does an excellent job. Maybe I'm a bit of sadist but this is the kind of love that I like reading about:painful and beautiful and wrought with all the feelings.
I read this in just over one day. I was addicted and could not put it down. My only complaint is that it had so many typos that it became distracting. My thanks to Kimberly and her friend Nikki who recommended it to her!
