5++++ stars!!

Swooooon! These Heartbreaker men have totally taken over my heart!! Once Upon a Wild Fling is every bit the sweet, sexy, warm, fun, smile inducing romance we've come to expect from Lauren Blakely. I seriously am so in love with these books. They're just really great feel good stories I can't get enough of.

Miles is total dream man material. It feels like Lauren Blakely wandered into my mind, picked out all the qualities I find attractive in a hero and gave them to the youngest Heartbreaker. With his musicality, his good guy persona and his raw sex appeal, I had no choice but to fall for Miles Hart. Every book in this series features a parent/guardian and child relationship that melts the heart but I have to say the bond in Once Upon a Wild Fling is my favorite. Miles and his little adorable boy, Ben, are so freaking cute. They're the perfect little team.

Roxy is equally as impressive as Miles. We first met her in Once Upon a Real Good Time. From there on I knew I was going to love her. She's so independent, strong and fun. I love that she goes after her dreams even if it means she does it on her own. My favorite thing about her is the relationship she has with Miles's son Ben. She cares and loves him so genuinely. It's the sweetest thing.

I ADORED Miles and Roxy and their unbelievably wonderful chemistry. They compliment each other so well. The flirting was on point. Lauren Blakely did a fantastic job building the connection. Because their relationship was a bit forbidden - with her being his buddy/financial advisor's sister plus, a certain decision Roxy made before they began their "plus one" partnership - it made their journey so much more addicting. I don't want to spoil anything but I want to say, the way Miles cares for Roxy and supports her decision is so incredibly swoony.

These Heartbreaker books are everything!! EVERYTHING!! I don't think I could recommend these books enough. Lauren Blakely has outdone herself. I can confidently say all three of the books are top favorite reads of 2018.

Once Upon a Wild Fling is the third and final book in the Heartbreakers series. Lauren has done it again my friends. Brought us new heroes to love in the form of a trio of deliciously talented brothers. Rockstars. Heart throbs. The oldest a dirty mouthed single dad. The middle a fun loving, carefree man who loves singing with his brothers. And Miles, the youngest brother. A fantastic single dad. The easy prey to the baby brother jokes. The sexy, sweet rocker who never takes no for an answer. Miles isn't looking for love. He's been burned, but has the best son in the world, so he has no regrets. He's always had a secret thing for his best friend and manager's sister. But he can't go there. That's just all kinds of wrong. Until he sees Roxy one day looking sexy as sin, and he just can't stay away. He needs a date to his high school reunion. They are friends after all, so what's the harm being a plus one? After one kiss they both seem to gravitate toward each other. Finding things to do together. Little gestures, plus one dates. Roxy is so great with his son, Ben. When a steamy kiss turns into so much more what is Miles going to do? Let Roxy get away or fight for what he wants? He's no quitter and he's no fan of heartbreak, but is Roxy worth the risk? Is she a wild fling who turns into just what he and Ben need? I loved this story so much! I love all of these brothers for such different reasons and the relationship they have with each other is some of the best brother love I've ever read. They tease, they taunt, they hug, they tell each other how they feel. They are a family and not just because they share blood. They choose to be brothers. To spend time together. To share their lives with each other. To play together. Miles and Roxy are so fun and flirty and perfect for each other. They know who they are and what they want out of life and their mutual attraction just led them to believe in so much more. I wish there were more books in the series and I'm hoping we'll see them again!

It's not that I think my buddy's sister is a babe
It's that I think she's a total babe.

"Daddy, will I be a chicken magnet like you when I grow up? I mean, you are handsome like me."
"You're handsome and talented and brilliant."

"I loved high school."
Campbell laughs. "That's because we paved the way for you, Dodgeball. We were the coolest dudes and you were the younger brother of the coolest dudes."
"Good to know you have faith in my ability to be charming without you."
Miller slugs my arm. "We can’t help it. You're the youngest. We're pretty much always going to give you a hard time. "

Oh my word Lauren Blakely does it again; I loved how this book was not only a single dad but that he was so freaking EPIC I can’t even. He fell in love with the woman and didn’t care for anything but who she was.

Ahh, it’s so hard not to give spoilers.

I love the other two Heartbreaker novels but I think this might be my favorite.
Roxy knew what she wanted and she does something about it she doesn’t let anyone’s judgment of her sway her. She knew what she was doing was right for her. She stands up for herself and her choices and isn’t that what we want all our heroines to have? OF COURSE!

Miles is exactly what all MEN need to be like. He falls for the person and not anything around them. He then accepted her for herself and makes her situation his. I loved this so freaking hard.

And his little boy omg he steals the show I loved it. I want more more more!

The narration sweet lord it is fantastic. I always love the narration of a Lauren Blakely book.

BEST ONE OF THE SERIES!
Man I loved this book! I have a weak spot for single dads and friends to lovers so this book hit all the right buttons for me. And this single dad went above and beyond in my opinion. I really enjoyed the relationship between Miles & Roxy, they were honest with each other about their feeling, no silly immature games. I loved that what Roxy had going on in her life didn't change anything for Miles and he jumped in with both feet. That was the best part of this book for me. Oh and I can't forget to mention how funny this book was, I laughed so many times especially at Ben!!

I love how this entire series has played out and that the characters were all adults without the unnecessary drama many authors add to their story just to mix it up. I prefer no drama, true love, mature characters and hot sex ... This book had all of this times 10! I also love that even though the characters connect, each book is a stand alone. Perfect, Perfect & Perfect!!!

The narration was great but I expect nothing less from these two narrators. It is so obvious to me that Lauren Blakely is an audiobook listener herself just by her casting choices. To me it almost feels like she writes her characters for the narrators instead of trying to match a narrator to the characters after the book is done.

The extra's were also an awesome addition to this audiobook. Little Big Rock was so much fun with all 4 narrators, it made me want to do a re-listen of the Big Rock series. Also the sneak peek at Unzipped was such a tease and now I'm just anxiously waiting for that book ;)

The title of this is a little misleading, as I don't feel that the couple has a wild fling. I feel like the two of them are definitely attracted to each other from the moment they met, but neither was in a place to do anything about it, not to mention, neither figured the other would actually be interested in anything serious. Plus, both have the added responsibility of being a parent, Miles is currently a father to his young son, and Roxy is about to become a mother on her own.

Besides the fact that the title doesn't quite fit the story, the story is a good one. Sweet, and sexy, and I really loved little Ben, Miles' son. I liked how Miles was attracted to Roxy, that even her changing body was part of what he liked, and the more she developed, the more he liked those changes. A lot of the story was very realistic in my opinion as well. The way they kind of stumbled around trying to say they wanted more, but not being sure how to say it without scaring the other off. The way that they put their children or soon-to-be children first, but not in such a way that it felt it was only a part of the story to cause drama. I also liked how their families may have seemed like they could be an issue, for instance Roxy's brother being Miles' financial advisor and friend, and maybe that would be a problem. But instead, her brother knew what would be good for her. And then you had Roxy's mother, who seemed as if she disapproved of Roxy's choices, but in the end, it was really just Roxy being worried about how she felt, and that is so much like I think most people would be worried about disappointing their parents. Roxy's mother was a wonderful mom, and all her ways of showing her concerns really just were being a mother.

This is the first I've read in this series, and they are all standalones, because there wasn't anything I needed to know from the other books in order to enjoy this one. However, I am now intrigued enough to want to read first two books. It seems as if there are already kids in each of the couples' lives, so that makes this a kind of unique series it would seem. Definitely worth the read, a bit of a rock star romance too. I loved how they came up with the song that it is is "Always About a Girl" at the end of the story too. I wonder if something like that is done in the other two stories as well.

Every single book in this series has been an absolute joy to read and Once Upon a Wild Fling is no exception! A single dad story that had a different type of twist? Yes, please!

Miles is a hot, sexy single dad that made me swoon with every interaction with his son! Add in Roxy who grabbed life by the balls and is creating her own future, just the way she wants it? Sign me up! I absolutely fell head over heels for the two of the separately but when they came together? Lauren Blakely created pure magic! The slow burn, the chemistry, the banter...whew!! Miles and Roxy were MADE for each other!

Each book in this series has shown how family is so much more than blood, it’s who stands with you through it all. I thoroughly enjoyed every single book in this series and I’m truly sad to see it end!

Rock star Miles Hart (who's giving up his solo career to join his brothers in their band, The Heartbreakers) has given up on relationships since his ex left him alone in the hospital with their baby boy, shortly after she gave birth. Roxy Sterling has been on so many bad dates that she's given up on love, too, and had herself artificially inseminated to fulfill her dream of having a baby. The two of them have spent plenty of time together in group gatherings (since her brother is his financial manager and his brother is engaged to her best friend), but when Miles is invited to play at his high school reunion (as he once promised to do), he asks Roxy to be his plus one to keep any overly aggressive fangirl classmates away from him. And so it starts.

I love the entire Heartbreakers series. All three books are about family, friendship, parenthood, love, and coming together to create all kinds of blended families. Miles and Roxy are too cute together, with their flirty talk and texting. They actually have fewer problems getting together, since their friends and/or siblings have paved the way with their relationships. Guess that's one of the perks of being the baby brother. While Once Upon a Wild Fling actually isn't that wild, it's still a fabulous book.

Single dad, aren’t my usual cup of tea, but I must say that Miles is sexy, famous and just amazing. Roxy and Miles make such an amazing couple, her confidence and self-esteem makes the story just even better. I am swooning for a single dad now.

First of all, I have a question. Can this series never end? Really, I could read about this set of characters for years! I need them to be real people so I can be friends with them. But I really don’t know if I’m cool enough for them. This series has 3 books. I gave 5 stars for all of them. For me to give a 5 star to a book, it needs to be really good, so you can see how I loved the series. It is for sure on my top reads for the year. Fun, witty, great characters, adorable children and focused in a world of music. Oh, and the last book has pets!! Really, everything needed for a great book.
Talking about Lauren’s writing is to say the same things always. Her writing is flawless and hooks you from the first page. She writes with a fluidity that compel you to not put the book down until you have read the last word, and will always let you wanting more.

What to talk about those characters? Miles is great with his kid, but so clueless with Roxy, that it is endearing! It was great to see him growing and changing.

Roxy is the epitome of a independent woman, she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to get it. I loved her personality and the decisions she made.

Go read this series!

So I guess I never finished a review for this when I read it… like eight weeks ago. Whoops. I just have a bunch of random notes of things I liked and comments about how hard it is to talk about this book with giving a huge spoiler right off the bat. So this review will be brief, to say the least.

I loved the first two books in this series and this was a perfect ending to a great trio. Once Upon a Wild Fling tells the story of the last (and youngest) brother from the Heartbreakers. Miles has definitely been burned when it comes to love and his son is the most important person in his life, so when it comes to needing a plus one for an event, it makes sense to ask his friend (and business manager’s sister…) Roxy to be his. Roxy’s in the perfect position to fill this void, she’s also in need of some plus ones and has absolutely written off relationships. But they’re both too wildly attracted to each other for it to stay platonic and before long, they’ve become friends with benefits. Benefits that are starting to include things that feel like real relationship stuff. But neither Roxy nor Miles are sure that a real relationship is really what they want, especially when they have to consider the feelings of Roxy’s brother and Miles’ son.

I adored both Roxy and Miles, equally enjoying each of their POVs and loving being in both of their heads. I feel like too much detail of Roxy’s story could be considered spoiler territory, but suffice it to say, I was intrigued and liked exploring a twist on a relatively common romance trope. There was a lot of laughs and a lot of, as the kids say, feels, as the relationship between Miles and Roxy developed into something more than just friends and then friends with benefits. The drama existed, but it wasn’t drawn out or overblown and overall, felt like the right fit for the story. As with the previous books in the trio, the romance aspect was great, but the expanded world of all the characters’ friends and family and the exploration of familial love in addition to the romantic love was truly what made this book great.
