I like this, it might be the most realistic/interesting MC series I have read. And that's saying something since its fiction, and set during the APOCALYPSE. ha

Anyway, I like the strong female lead but its getting a bit involved now with the "gods" angle and being attacked, and deep thinking like "what is their true purpose".

NO- no deep thinking please- just get on with it with Shadow- please SIR. SHADOW.

Okay this is getting intense. And i am loving every single Second of It.
I actually got tears in my eyes when Dallas died. I didn't know i connected with the character enough to actually get emotional.
Gonna read the 5th book right now
After the ending of the 4th i need to know what the conversation between the brothers is gonna be like

Another great addition to the story! Learning more about the animals and the gods the represent is so cool, and I can’t wait to dive deeper in the next one!

Gunner finally makes a decision on whether he can share the woman in his life with other men or not.

“But having Reaper and Jandro‘s support made a world of difference in strengthening in my spine.
“I can’t keep waiting and hoping for you to say that you want this. All of this.”
“So after tonight you’re either telling me yes or,”
I pulled in a shaky breath,
“or any other answer is no.”

To be honest I’ve continue the series because of the character Shadow. He absolutely deserves to have an HEA.
I’m not really connected to Mariposa, so while I’m sure he is the next man to be part of her harem, I just want him to be happy.

There is a mysterious attack on the motorcycle club. And we do end up losing a character. But we also bring a new life into this series as well.

This is a very unique series. Post apocalyptic. Has a little bit of paranormal aspects to it with gods and goddesses connecting to animals or pets of the characters. And it’s a reverse harem.
There’s a disconnect for me with some of the descriptions of certain parts of the book. Which makes it a little difficult for me to continue the series. I’m not sure if I will.
These are quick and fast paced books for when I need a filler book in between other things I’m reading. I had Siri read me this book and I was done in just a few hours while I was painting my living room.
3/5 stars

Another great book in this series

I'm going to keep this short and sweet- this was another awesome read from Crystal Ash in this series. Mari, Gunner, Reaper, Jandro and Shadow are some of my favorite characters ever. If you haven't started this series then you are seriously missing out.

I keep getting better and better

Each book seems to get better and better than the previous one. My main issue initially, was with Mari being a little ridiculous and too naïve. But she’s settled in to being the badass she should be. I love that Gunner finally quit fighting with himself, and joined their relationship. And the sexual tension with Shadow just keeps building! His character growth has been awesome to watch. I love getting the POV from each character, and how they each have such well-defined distinct personalities. This is definitely not one of the Rh stories where they’re all interchangeable with no defining characteristics. I also love how the dynamic keeps evolving so organically and naturally. There still the internal debating and insecurities, which makes it seem realistic, and nothing seems forced or just fake. There’s a little bit of magic mystery, but it’s not overt making it all seem like a paranormal story. It all feels believable and real. The story line is enough to keep you invested, and I’m anxious to see how this plays out next.

I always put off reading this series because of how long it is but I’m so glad I finally started it. I’m flying through these books and despite how many books there’s never a boring moment. It doesn’t feel like it’s being dragged on, there’s so much more to uncover and I can’t wait. The banter is amazing and I love the animals so much. Also loving the development between Mari and Shadow
