I love love love this book and keep it on my bedside table. This Buddhist monk gives us such simple little bits of advice to remember the blessings of each day. It's written in short, one or two page sections, to be read in any order. One of my favorites is when he talks about how nice it is not to have a toothache. We tend to appreciate health only when we experience discomfort, but every day we can be thankful that we can breathe easily, or move without pain. When I'm feeling dissatisfied with life, it's a nice reminder to run through all the things in my life that aren't wrong! Today - no toothache! No bachache! No sore throat! Woohoo!

I pretty much love everything Thich Nhat Hanh writes and says. He always inspires me to be in the present, something I need in this crazy world. A lovely, deep book

I overall enjoyed this book. It provided breathing mantras and ways to stay present, which was what I wanted. Definitely written by a monk, it’s a little out there from general western standards.

I really enjoyed and had many take away's to practice. Not a book to necessarily read in a day or 2. I read over the course of a long road trip a little each day which helped me absorb and take root.
