I was definitely curious about Gil when we first met him but I didn't expect to love his story so much! everything about this was absolutely wonderful
If you haven’t met Daddy Zayn. You need to run and borrow it from Kindle Unlimited. You don’t have too but it does set you up for the Villeti Family. This is Zayn’s younger brother Gilberto.
Such a sweet, caring soul. I just want to protect him at all costs. He meets Theia. She is a beautiful soul as I can picture who works at Desecration (Zayn’s Sex Club) as a sex worker. They meet well actually he protects her in a way. You’ll have to read it to see what he does.
Gil is also taking over the family business. So you learn and feel what he is going through.
Their relationship is a slow burn but I completely understood the reasoning behind it all. Both characters were written beautifully and Gil can call me a dirty slut whenever he feels like it.
I absolutely love Sarah’s work. I can’t wait to start indulging in her back catalogue of books. Do I need to mention that I tend to put a signed book in cart. Truly tempted to buy one. One day, I’ll get there. One day! I can’t wait to see what you have planned for the next one!
Tropes: Sex Club Worker, She’s Mine, Mafia, Interconnected Series, Degradation/Praise, Sex Trafficking

Gil wasn't this interesting in Tyrant or Tease. He is really intense and as usual, Sarah writes a fantastic book, with fantastic characters, with troubled pasts. But how the hell you managed writing this story I don't understand. Theia thought she'd escaped, but It would seem it came back and bit her in the ass years later.
I love how vulnerable Gil is when he's with Theia. The way they connect, that's not how it usually goes in books and I'm all here for it. The detail about Gil he tells Theia when they meet is another great thing about Sarah. Including many modern things and it works so well!
Edric is a very interesting character... I don't know if I adore him or just want him to shut up.
There were plot twists in this book I NEVER saw coming. It made me speechless and mad as hell. The fact it ended like it did was damn good. I love when women are badasses!!
I don't think I'll ever be ready for Enzo's story.
I received an ARC from the author, I willingly give my review with my honest opinion.

Sarah Bailey has done it again, 5 stars just isn’t enough. I love being brought into this world time & time again. I also enjoyed the cameos from the previous books not to mention one very brief cameo by a certain tattooed man
When you read a book by Sarah Bailey you know you are going to be getting all of the steamy goodness and some top tier kinkiness. While I loved the superior spice in this book, what I loved even more was the feelings this book brought out of me. This wasn't your typical mafia book in the best ways possible.
Gilberto Villetti is a stoic executioner for the mafia, so one would assume he is the typical alpha hole who gets around, but things aren't always what they seem. Gil is probably my favorite love interest in this series so far. He is a cold and standoffish sociopath because of the way he was brought up, but that doesn't stop him from being the most wonderful teddy bear of a man.
Enter Theia. A woman who was saved from human trafficking and was able to find her inner peace and power working at an underground sex club. She has overcome a lot in life, but she is still suffering from the trauma of her past. From the outside she doesn't seem like a perfect fit for Gil, but their story is so wonderfully beautiful that it made me cry.
This is a dark romance and deals with a lot of heavy topics, so if you have any triggers be sure to check the trigger and content warnings.
I did receive an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

This book is definitely not getting enough hype and credit for how wonderfully it is written and how emotional it turned out to be.
The Viletti Chronicles series is fast becoming one of my favorite mafia series of all time and if you read my reviews, you should know it is my favorite sub genre of the romance genre.
This book is perfection on all levels.
Characters:
- A strong and resilient FMC that does not fall under the "strong bitch" archetype, remains soft and loving despite the violence she saw and experiences, she remains full of life and ready to take a bite and I loved her for it. She would do anything for her man.
- A brutal MMC who is very self-aware and understanding that he has to play a role and put on a mask to "hide his condition" (he is demisexual). He is so soft for her once their connection is established and growing, I was on the floor. The romantic dialogues, the touch her and get unalived vibes, the small touches and small gestures to show affection were immaculate.
Plot
The plot is intricate and it has good pacing: you get action that is not overshadowed by spice or character development. All happen seamlessly.

This was my first time reading about a demi character and I found it super interesting and well researched. It did not feel forced but flows well with the stories and the characters and the family dynamics at play. The building of intimacy felt strongly emotional and I enjoyed getting to know both characters as they got to know each other before getting intimate.
Spice
It is a slow burn but it did not feel frustrating. It felt natural and real.
The degradation was so well done ! I find it rare because mostly it is used as an excuse to exercise violence, even if the author is trying their best to "make it make sense." I found that Sarah Bailey is THE author that does this kink the best. It is all for the FMCs and the connection created between the two characters gives it meaning. This is definitely not the spiciest book I have ever read but it was one of the hottest to me
Will always recommend
