The conflict between the Talvery and Cross families finally erupts in the suspenseful Merciless climax, and Aria and Carter's forbidden love is about to be put to the ultimate test. In addition to filling in some gaps that didn't make sense to Aria, this final book provides further information about her past and ultimately not only clarifies everything but also slightly breaks her heart. In actuality, the author pulled off a very cunning ruse. Even though Aria is voluntarily with Carter in this book, she still has to come to terms with the knowledge that someone she loves will undoubtedly die in this conflict between families. He's not happy, and neither is she. More drama unfolds, secrets are divulged, and Carter at last feels regret for what he did. Although Carter and Aria's tale comes to a satisfactory conclusion at the end of this book, we haven't seen the last of the Cross brothers.

“As long as you forgive me, I’ll forgive you of any and every sin you’ve ever dared commit. Just love me. All I want is you, Aria. I can’t lose you.”

Omg, what can I say about this book is that it blow me away. I really enjoyed how their story ending even thought it played with my emotions. Not going give anything away since not out yet. Bit you want to read it along with the first 3 books of the series. More then 5 stars and cannot wait to see what next.🖤🖤🖤

I absolutely loved Willows style of Broken, Dark and deliciously twisted throughout this series. *Fans Self* Willow Winters sure know how to make mafia/crime families hot hot hot!

Carter and Aria were supposed to be enemy's. Carter the head of his family, Aria the sheltered princess from another.

They fought eachother every turn and the emotions just kept on coming. Aria wanted freedom, Carter wanted revenge.

Everything has come down to the final installment.

Hot sexy scenes, two broken hearts and a crime family war. What more could you ask for?

Wow and holy shit is all I have to say about this epic conclusion to Carter and Aria’s story in the Merciless Series. This last book will take you on a rollercoaster of ups and downs, WTF and OMG moments. At one point I may have messaged Willow and said I can’t believe you… (No spoilers here!!! You’ll have to check it out!) The ending will have you simultaneously wanting to throw and hug your book as Carter and Aria come to the final chapter of their tumultuous love story.

I think my favorite piece of the entire series was the touch of Magical Realism at the ending! Having studied Latin American Literature in college, this was an amazing little treasure to take the story to the next level. There is an amazing subtle beauty to the magical realism genre and I just adored this nod to it in the ending.

Overall, this amazing series is gritty, sexy, and also sweet. It will leave you delightfully frustrated with the angst of the love story, flipping pages to see what happens next, and maybe even shaking your fist in the air when something crazy happens, both good and bad. I highly recommend this series if you like dark romance and the mafia genre. It will not leave you wanting!

The ending to this amazing couple. But really is it the end? Carter and Aria are in control or so it seems. But she is hiding something from him and doesn't know what to do. Carter is losing control over how he feels. What is going to happen between these two? Will his fate be sealed when she walks away? This ending was breathtaking. It was a gripping suspenseful page turning want more book. An absolute amazing must read. I loved the ending to this couple it was a great ending that will absolutely leave you wanting more. Willow does such an amazing job writing the feelings that each person feels and when these two come together you cant help but feel the love.
A great series that is a must read.

“The moment I saw him, I knew deep in the marrow of my bones that I belonged to this man. The other half to my soul. Holding his life to mine is the worst thing I’ve ever felt in this world.”

Willow Winters has written an epic love tale of two star-crossed lovers in her Merciless Series. Endless is the final book in the story of Aria and Carter, people from different families at odds with each other. Through each of the books in the series, whether you approved of Carter’s methods of obtaining Aria or his ways of keeping her, it was written in the stars that these two would end up together.

I was thankful to get my hands on an ARC of this book because Winters left us with a cliffhanger in the third book of the series, Breathless. At the start of this book, that cliffhanger is resolved quickly, but our H/h struggle to reconcile their relationship. In fact, that is THE struggle of this book: can people from different families who hate each other, even though they love each other, be together “endlessly?” You will need to read the book to find out.

I think the goal of Winters for this book was humanizing Carter. In the first three books, he embodies the role of head of a crime family. He inhabits this role in such a way that his humanity doesn’t exist. He allows himself to take Aria and hold her captive, taking her virtue at any time. Until he finds his humanity, his self-sacrifice, he cannot be with Aria.

Even more, until Aria recognizes her own power in her choice and in her family, the two can have no future. Once she becomes a woman of strength, her fate with Carter is determined.

Together, Aria and Carter are the power of this book. The rest of the story is ancillary to their struggle and the resolution of their struggle. Honestly, for most of the book, my stomach hurt because they could not come together. Unfortunately, tragedy must strike in order for them to fully recognize the truth of their relationship. In this moment, my stomach stopped hurting, and I could finally relax. “I’m where I’m supposed to be. Beside Carter Cross. Our present and our future tied together. ‘We will rule. That’s what’s going to happen, my songbird.’”

Like the first three books, this book is just as angsty up until the very end. You will love Aria and Carter and root for them even when all hope seems lost. Winters has created a compelling story that will continue on with Jace’s story (and I hope Nikolai’s, Declan’s, etc.) It will rip your heart out a bit but patch it back together in the end.

Overall: 5 Star Read
