This story follows Keegan and Loomis. Loomis is a famous Hollywood bad boy who meets Keegan through a mutual friend, Tinsley. After a chance encounter on the street — with Loomis in disguise for privacy reason. What happens when Keegan’s ex shows up and Loomis steps in, claiming they’re dating?
I enjoyed this story, and the audiobook was a great listen in dual narration format if you’re thinking of picking it up. Starting with Keegan, I liked her character and how willing she was to help Loomis as a friend. Learning that he’s a father and seeing him adapt to the circumstances—while trying to change his image in the media—showed great character growth. I loved the scenes where Keegan would step in to help; they were so sweet and really cemented Loomis’s feelings for her. I also loved that we got to see them spend ten days away together. I will say, I did not suspect who was behind the blackmail, but the reveal was perfect. Overall, it was a great read and listen.

Is there a J.Saman book that isnt a 5 star read! Loved it...great comfort read with good plot and excellent spice. Good pacing and balance.
Another adorable, sexy, and entertaining entry into the Boston's Irresistible Billionaires series- and this one may be my favorite of the batch!
If you've been listening/reading the series then you were probably also excited to be getting Keegan and Loomis' story at long last! Our delicious British actor and the lovable OBGYN/aspiring romance novelist. And poor Keegan- what an epically unfortunate start to her story. Being broken up with after dropping the L bomb and enduring double-career sidelining injury to her wrist. But Loomis to the rescue- who not only helps her after he fall but conveniently thwarts her ex by telling him THEY are dating. He's got his own drama- an unexpected surprise baby...er toddler....and the press of course are hunting him down for the scoop. So he jets away to the beach to get away from it all, and of course why not bring along the girl he can't get off his mind, Keegan.
The characters in this one are just so lovable. Loomis is charmer- I'm usually a goner for a dapper British bad boy with a dirty talking streak. But he's got a big heart and there's so much more to him than his image. And I loved how committed he is to his unexpected kiddo Fen. And I related SO much to Keegan, not only her desire for love and emotional reciprocity, but also her tension in the career path she feels she should take vs the passion that calls to her. And that paired with Loomis' unexpected insecurities makes for some fun dynamics between them.
The setting is the perfect place for that solitude/forced proximity dynamic and all of the beachy tension to build. We've got some dual pining, and their "fake" dynamic quickly turns muddy. They have a great chemistry, some good emotional development, and of course we have that J. Saman spice that's spicing.
Will Watt is endlessly charming in anything he narrates- the most delicious British leading man. And Samantha Brentmoor never disappoints She always delivers so much vulnerability and emotional nuance. The dual narration is such a fabulous listen- great performances that enhance the charm of the story.

This book is the 6th one in the Bostons Irresistible Bachelor Series. Only one more left on this series!
I’ve only ever read J Samans books in this series, but they are interconnected standalone. As usual it’s nice to know all the characters, but it’s not necessary.
We get to dive into Keegan and Loomis with their wild ride of a fake relationship that’s so-so-fake pretty quickly! Keegan has good character development through this book, which is always nice to see occur.
I can’t say this one is a favorite of mine in the series, but it is still a good read and summery since part does take place in Key West.
No third act breakup, which, phew. A much needed break!
