Even though this book was very strange, I still enjoyed it. I felt like this one was totally different than most of Colleen Hoover's other books. It was fun to read about a whole family. They all have issues that they are going through and that kept things interesting! I liked the romance part of this book and the way that the couple got together. The ending was pretty great too! Small twists throughout the book. It was very heartwarming. It was a very quick read and I blew through the book in one day!

Sooooooo many things happening in this book, too much maybe?? Maybe pick one dilemma and work this out, don't pick 10 different themes and talk about each of them a little bit..
But I didn't hate this book, didn't love it either. It didn't really do anything for me, but just an easy read..

I spent the first 60% of this book really hating the main character, until I realized we could all find a little piece of ourselves in her. I loved the character developed, the family dynamic, and the unapologetic imperfection of this story. It’s an important book that addresses some demons most people like to ignore. I’m throughly impressed and this may even be my most favorite Hoover novel yet.

This book took me a little over a week to read. I've read past CoHo books in like 2 days so it's pretty obvious this one didn't keep me as interested as all the others. I didn't hate it. I thought it was a good read. Was just expecting greatness based on her other books and I just didn't get it with this one :/

I loved how the Voses don’t fit the mold of a ‘typical’ family. I especially loved reading about their journey to rekindle their relationships with one another (even though I thought they resolved things a little too quickly).

I wanted to read more about Merit’s healing process though and could have done without the relationship she had with Sagan. I think the story would have had a better impact if Merit went through her emotional journey with a friend or Honor rather than a love interest.

4.5 stars. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Coho books are easy a hit or miss for me but this one hit just right. This for sure wasn't a romance it was like fiction with a side plot of romance I don't even know how to describe it. Don't go into this expecting a full blown romance go into this expecting chaotic family drama and a wild ride!

CoHo does it again. Such a mystery to each character. Colleen pulls you in and keeps you reading. This book makes you consider your perspective on life, on family on how you treat others. Loved the quirkiness of the characters.

Why is this listed as romance? This is 100% NOT romance.

This is a relationally-charged YA novel wrapped with serious adult themes. (Aren't most of them?) It is by no means Hoover's best work, but it was quick read and enjoyable. I liked the Voss family. Mostly. They're quirky and problematic, but isn't that why we find ourselves drawn to fiction? I liked Merit and her snarky tone. I liked Sagan a lot. Even Luck was an intriguing character. (Motion for him to get his own book?)

Fast paced (as all of Hoover's books are), mostly well written, interesting characters. I liked the little pieces of art throughout the book.

Not a super memorable Hoover book, but not bad. Onto the next one!
