Oh wow, I really loved this book, the chemistry between Neve and Ares was amazing. I loved how possessive and loyal Ares was right from the beginning even though they were enemies. The plot was great and kept you guessing what would happen next. A great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed how infatuated and obsessed Ares was with Neve. The whole “touch her and i kill you” vibe is always great, but this had the “talk to my wife like that and i’ll throw you off the balcony” vibe which was top tier. It wasn’t much of a slow burn which i do usually prefer, but it was done at a speed that i think was perfect for the plot.
I enjoyed the start of this series. I’ve read most of the other books in this series as i’m coming back to edit this review, and i have rated this one less then the others due to it being the start of the storyline so there isn’t as much depth as the others, but i still enjoyed it thoroughly!

Had really high hopes for this novel since it’s written by a male. Definite staring points were the action scenes. The romance, dialogue, and sex scenes were so boring that I started loosing interest on why the two characters were attracted to each other.
I honestly think this author should stick with action novels or fiction writing. Romance is not his genre.
