3.5 stars. I liked this more than I expected to! It was smart and funny but also endearing and fun in a YA mystery kind of way. Not nearly as gory as the TWs below would suggest, but I haven’t seen many reviews that include a list so I wanted to add them. I look forward to continuing this series!

TW: mention of death by suicide, scene in a morgue, drug abuse, smoking, mention of a rape, poison, snakes, description of blood, spying, descriptions of hallucinations, reuniting with estranged parent, description of loveless childhood and abandonment.
