The poems in Scots were harder to understand, but once I’d read them in my head with a Scottish accent enough times, I was able to start to understand and relate to them. Poetry is one of those art forms which cannot always

Not always easy to read as pain and despair sometimes shine out through the words but ultimately brilliant. I particularly loved the poems in Scots and there is humour too. Favourite poems are Oh Look, Hings Tae Mind ,Wheesht and I'm no havin' children.
