I feel like more than half of the book was a recap. It drove me insane. But it was worth it in the end.

Shadowkiss is the third book in the Vampire Academy series and is the climax of the series. Still getting better, but not a four-star book yet. I'm hoping this is one of those series's that get better as they go, but so far I'm not incredibly impressed.

First of all, I'm writing this review with a heavy heart. I just finished reading Shadow kiss and to say that I'm heartbroken would be an understatement. I feel empty. Richelle Mead is just tore me apart. Why did this have to happen? I'm hurting so much right now because Dimitri. I want Lissa and Christian to be happy. I want Adrian to find happiness in someone. I want Eddie to be happy. But most of all, I want Rose and Dimitri to be. Just to be. So much compassion for Rose. She had to leave behind the one person, she has always been with all these years, and go ahead and do the thing to lose herself completely :( And the conversation between Dimitri and Rose in the van in Vampire Academy though! Never thought it would come back to them. To act in what was once said as "if" statement. I just don't know how, but I just hope she gets him back.
