What a great way to end this series! This story is about two broken people who find healing, comfort and love with one another. This story had me all in my emotions.

I loved Blake. He's such a good brother and just a great human being. I loved that he not only comforted his sister, Hailey, but he also made an effort to comfort Samantha. He could see she needed someone.

Samantha had me all over the place with my emotions. I was so angry for her. Her in-laws are just absolutely horrible people. I had tears for her and her children. But I smiled for her and her kids and the happiness they found with Blake and his family. After everything they went through they deserved that.

But what had me crying my eyes out was the ending with Hailey and Samantha. These two women are such amazing human beings who have overcome such adversity. It was so refreshing. We need more human beings like this in our world today.

If you haven't read this trilogy, you should.

So despite being told I should have read the first book to get a better understanding I didn’t read. I pretty much went in head first and blind with this story and I don’t regret one moment of it! Right off the bat this story sucked me in and I knew it was going to be intense and heartbreaking. This was such a messy situation for both characters and this book made my heart race while reading. I’m doing my best to avoid spoilers but this book is all sorts of deep and I’m only up to chapter 7! Natasha Madison has laid the ground work for what I can only imagine will be a heartfelt and heartbreaking story. It’s very rare I have to write notes as I read but I couldn’t continue without jotting these thoughts down.

As expected this book continued to rip my heart out as I read. After everything Samantha has gone through her “family” is now casting her to the side. Samantha had so much strength and I loved the support that she received from Blake as well. There aren’t enough words to describe how much I loved Blake. He was broken as well but wanted to fix and heal Samantha and her girls. He was such a good guy and everyone needs a Blake in their lives. I was dreaded and looking forward to the “showdown” between Hailey and Samantha and I loved that it was tasteful done.

This book was well written, sweet story about two broken people finding love. The drama wasn’t over the top and it felt very realistic while I was reading. I will be making it my business to read the first two books in the series as well.

"I’m jealous of the love he had for her.
Jealous that no one ever loved me so fiercely.
Not once."

Samantha seriously couldn't catch a break. She's been abandoned by everyone who she thought would love her and accept her after the death of her deceitful husband!

I hated Eric in Hailey's story and reading what she had to handle! And then reading Samantha's story.

Let me start by saying I am obviously a gluten for emotional punishment when it comes to romance novels. Seriously comrades - queue the waterworks and screamage. Yeah, I said it, I went there. Broken Love Story is definitely exceptional because the heartfelt tugs are my dark, speckled heart were overwhelmingly catastrophic.

So before I dive in... another confession. I did not know this was a series. Yep. Now that I have read Samantha and Blake's romance I have to go back and read Perfect Love Story and Unexpected Love Story, because hell, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT KNOWING MORE. I do so love connective series and these characters have me in a tizzy.

Oh my lanta the characters... I couldn't help but sympathize with both Blake and Samantha. Samantha was such strong, empowering female lead. Honestly she has such a heartfelt yet troubling past that turned her into such an amazing woman and mother. Married to Eric with two beautiful daughters, she really enforces the fact that family means everything to her, especially considering she grew up as a foster 'system' child with no family of her own, she clung to Eric and his. It isn't surprising however that once Eric is killed in an accident that his hidden secrets come to life, shattering Samantha's perfect world. Finding out her husband was leading a secondary life with another 'wife', she is crushed, more so when Eric's family clings to the fact that maybe if Samantha had been 'better' he wouldn't have strayed, nor would he be dead. I have to admit too, it was absolutely earth shattering to see how Samantha is treated by her in laws yet astonishing that she constantly striving to keep her daughters safe and happy. Really... she is an amazing character.

Blake on the other hand is somewhat a force - one that I enjoyed. He is the brother of Hailey, Eric's other 'wife'. He is very protective, caring and rather damaged himself. While he is trying to find closure for his sister in the recent events surrounding Eric's death, he finds himself getting closer and closer to Samantha. Secret visits, calls, texting between the two really shines a light on his personality. He is definitely the surreal hero any broken situation would love to see in their corner.

Honestly I cannot get enough of the adorable connection that is Samantha and Blake. Samantha really reaches out to Blake at first trying to find answers for herself but strange enough she finds a friend in her corner. Though there is obviously some growing feelings occurring between the two, they really try to stick to simply supporting one another. Comfort turns to trust, circling to friendship and innocent flirting to full blown feels. Leaning on one another is really the foundation of what their entire relationship is built on - it is sweet and cherishing.

Aside for my obvious adoration for this novel, I still had a slight irk - definitely one of those pet peeves that I wish didn't happen. Natasha Madison had me hooked at the start, I was captivated from the moment the family drama and undeniable chemistry of Samantha and Blake started to build. Unfortunately because the build of the main characters plus the dynamics of the secondary characters was such a phenomenal pivotal additive to the plot, there was a point where it stopped building, stopped flowing. You could almost say once the ball started rolling it had an almost anti-climatic roll about eighty-five percent point. Not bad, but definitely could have been a little more fluff instead of coming to the pinnacle point of no return then rushing to get to the ending.

That is honestly the BEST way I can describe that without giving any smidge of the spoiler. Just a bit rushed for my tastes when the building to that moment, and those who read it might be picking up what I am putting down, was absolutely gut wrenching and breathtaking climax that left chills down my spine.

Overall, I definitely enjoyed Broken Love Story. It had a touch of raw emotionally feels that really tugged at your soul, whether you were smiling at the cheesy goodness or choking back the sobs. It was spectacular. I was utterly taken with Samantha and Blake's love story. It was beautiful, it was flawed, and beyond relatable. I definitely want to get more of Natasha Madison on my TBR in the future especially considering I did not know this was a series when I first signed up to review, now I definitely want to continue.

This was, hands down, my favorite book in this series. And Blake has cemented himself as one of my all time favorite heroes. When I started this series, I felt like Eric’s original wife should have been the first part of this puzzle, but having Samantha finish out the series was perfect. This book tied up every last loose end and was the perfect end cap to this trilogy.

I liked that although this book took place at the same time as the first two books, this felt like a whole new story. We finally got Samantha’s point of view and it did not disappoint. What Eric did to her and their two daughters was atrocious, but what his family tried to do was even worse. Once Samantha decided she wasn’t going to sit back and let Eric’s family take the reins, she became one of the strongest characters of this series. She fought for her girls and recognized she needed to show them how to pick themselves up and live.

I wasn’t ready for Blake. He was honestly just a good guy. He saw what nobody else saw when he looked at Samantha and decided he was going to help her. They both had some hurdles to get over, and I loved how their relationship developed over time. It started with texts and calls and moved to a friendship where they could both lean on each other and finally evolved into the kind of love every person dreams of having.

This was a much more emotional book. Between Blake’s past, Samantha’s ex-in laws and the effect everything had on Izzy, it was easy to get emotional. But this was a story of healing for everyone involved. I loved Hailey’s actions at the end and loved getting to see Hailey and Samantha finally meet. This ended the series perfectly.

This was a heartfelt, sweet and emotion filled story. That I absolutely devoured. As not only were the characters Blake, Samantha, Lizzie and Daisy extremely likable. But the storyline developed beautifully and I couldn't help but become enthralled. As Samantha and her children try to rebuild their lives after the death of Eric and his betrayal. And I adored how Samantha and Blake's relationship developed from occasional phone calls, to friendship to love. Not to mention that surprising twist towards the end just made the everything more enjoyable, intriguing and captivating. But so believable and I loved every moment of it!! And would definitely recommend Broken Love Story to others.
