3.5 star read for me. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator had a good voice but he mispronounced the babies name and it bugged me.

Freaking amazing!
Eric was everything I could have ever hoped for and more. His growth through out this story is phenomenal!

funny lighthearted fast-paced

My favorite thing about this story is that we got it from Eric’s POV. I loved seeing things from his eyes. He was not perfect by any means, even in his thoughts, but that’s probably why he felt so real to me.

I really enjoy a good slow-burn romance and I feel like it was absolutely the best route for this story in order to show Eric’s growth and give him redemption. Had he jumped right into bed with Jean, he probably never would’ve taken the time to get to know her on a personal level. It was important for readers to see that he was indeed changing. I absolutely adored his affection for Ada, it was so sweet and made it impossible to dislike him.

I didn’t enjoy Nell in this story at all. I understand that her and Eric have a history and that she was looking out for her new friend,,but she was over the top cruel to Eric. His brother and other friends weren’t exactly nice either but when they saw him making a real effort to be less selfish they took note and were supportive of him. Nell just really mad me angry for most of this book and she brought my mood down with her.

Overall, this was another great addition to the series and I enjoyed it!

Great character development, but not the most interesting story in this series. I loved it.

CHASER is book three in the Dive Bar series. It's a complete standalone though there's recurring characters.

Eric is part owner of the bar and a serious player. He has a few misgivings about his wandering eye though and is thinking about maybe finding a girlfriend when Jean walks into his bar (no joke). For Eric, it's lust at first sight...until he realizes that Jean is pregnant!

So for the most part, romance has a basicality (is that a word?) to it, a general outline that a story follows: boy meets girl, boy is a manwh@re, girl captures boy's heart, they live happily ever after. And I like this predictability, obviously right, since I LOVE reading about LOVE! But every once in awhile I come across a character that just shocks the hell outta me and Eric did just that!! How does a thirty year old man go through life so incredibly DENSE when it comes to women? LOL!

Honestly, in the beginning, I didn't think I'd like him but the little stinker really grew on me! Oh my goodness, Eric's thought process literally had me laughing out loud. I loved the crazy back and forth between characters, the crystal clear journey that has Eric going from immature jerk to loving and thoughtful boyfriend and surprisingly, I enjoyed reading it completely from Eric's POV. Overall, this was a light, totally enjoyable read. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

The first book of this series is amazing, but the second book was pretty meh and I had a difficult time getting through this one.

I felt like the Stage Dive books went down in quality as the series went on, but it took longer.

Eric is not a likeable character. I'm all for a person who can be reformed, but he doesn't really have much motivation to do so and since the book is told from his POV, it's not often fun to be in his douchy thoughts.

I think the idea has promise but the execution was weak.

Kylie Scott really did an incredible job turning Eric around in this book, what a delight

This was my least favorite in the series, mostly because douchebags don't do it for me and reformed douchebag stories aren't my thing. On the other hand, Eric going gaga over a baby made my ovaries explode a little, so if half stars were allowed, I'd totally 3.5 star this one.

Kylie never fails to impress me with her books.
Chaser was exactly what I needed right now.
Loved it
