Another amazing book from this amazing series. Didn’t really love the secret family troupe so I could’ve done without that and I kinda hated that the MC guy called her Lexa. Overall, Alexis and Noah were very cute together and I love me some friends to lovers romance.

These books are just fun. I love all the characters. The author clearly has a very good grasp on the romance genre and her take on it and how those aspects could translate to a group of men subverting toxic masculinity and embracing their emotional sides to fix their relationships is honestly just refreshing to read about.

“There is no more universal story than of two people working through their shit to overcome huge obstacles and find their way to happiness,” Malcolm said. “But every journey is different, every obstacle unique. And it’s in that unique journey that we find lessons for our own lives.”

I love this series so much! It is absolutely adorable and these characters have all taken up space in my heart. AND THE RUSSIAN HAS A BOOK I AM NOT OKAY!!

I love this series because every book is not only comforting and wholesome but because each story has amazing things to teach you. This book focused a lot on family and growth, and it was incredible to see these characters come to terms with the difficult situations in their lives.

“Forgiveness means recognizing that you are a different person because of the pain but realizing that so are they because of the pain they caused. I think it’s deciding that the new people you are are better people and that together you’re worth something.”

I’ve said it once and I’ve said it again, the idea behind this series is fantastic. I love the Book Club so much and I’m glad that we saw so many of its members in this book! They were a lot more involved than in the last book and it was honestly amazing!

The woman blinked again. “When I saw on the schedule that we had a bachelor party coming in today, I figured it was a mistake and someone just left off the -ette part.”
“Men need pampering too.”
She winked. “Saving the strip clubs for later, huh?”
Mack stiffened. “No strip clubs. I don’t like the idea of using my impending wedding as an excuse to sexually objectify women as if this is my last gasp of freedom.”

^ I MEAN!! THEY’RE ICONIC!!

I was really excited about this book because I had been waiting to read about Noah and Alexis for so long, and they totally lived up to the expectations I had for them! They were the friends to lovers trope at their finest, and it was absolutely hilarious to see the club advising Noah! Honestly, everything about how their relationship progressed was so well written.

As I mentioned, the next book belongs to Vlad and I CAN’T WAIT because I already know it’s going to be iconic. And it’s a marriage of convenience? *chef’s kiss*

I was so excited to read this book since I LOVED the first 2 Bromance Book Club books. While I really enjoyed the characters and their own personal development, I felt like the pacing of the book did not do their romance justice. It felt like an interlude as opposed to their story and partnership. I liked it, but not as much as the first 2.

”If she’d learned anything in the past eighteen months, it was that people were going to believe what they wanted, and few of them were worth the emotional effort it took to try to change their minds.“

Maybe book 2 was the exception, not the rule...

Honestly, this is the perfect example of the execution did not meet the potential.
I genuinely disliked most of the characters (to no use the word hate because Alexis' family and Marsh? i DEFINITELY hated), except maybe Noah. Alexis just let everyone walk all over her, it annoyed me so much!! yeah she had a development in the end, but by that time I just didn't care. And even her development was not even worth it to be quite honest, because she ended up giving in anyway lol. And the storyline with the kidney transplant and the found family was so poorly developed and executed, I found myself being the embodiment of the ????? throughout most of the book.
I also HATED the angst at the end, especially when Alexis fucked up and believed someone she's "known" for hardly a full month and who hated her, over her best friend/boyfriend who she's known for a year and has always been there for her YET the author found a way to twist it and make Noah the one at fault. That single handedly ruined the last bit of the book and their relationship for me. And the grand gesture thing? That was 100% recycled from the second book.. I mean...

Anyway... maybe I should just give up on this series because that's 2/3 books that I didn't like and the next book is about a character who's entire characterization throughout all three books has been eating cheese, farting and going to the bathroom... i WISH i was exaggerating.

I'm sorry Noah and Alexis but The Russian stole the show. I had some great deep belly laughs and while I thought I would be over the series after book 2. I'm really f**king not.

The writing was phenomenal, funny. The pace was extremely fast but the plot was fantastic.

I think this entire plot was better than book 2 (nothing will beat book 1). I hated Elliot, pitied Elliot. I was rooting tf for Noah. I understood his anger and revenge and cried when he did.

BUT ALEXIS.

Forgiveness never equals meekness, it's so important to remember that! And meekness is not weakeness. All I can say is that this damn book, my heart is so warm.
