A very sweet story, even if you saw the ending coming early on. Would like to read Something Borrowed from Rachel’s POV now
Well written but not quite as believable as the first novel in the series. I find it frustrating that Ethan, one person who was completely on Rachel's side and supportive during the first novel, and one of the biggest anti darcy people out there, suddenly fall sin love with her. She didn't particularly grow as the novel suggests, and still remains selfish .

Once again, a hard book for me to finish because I did not like the protagonist. I've forgotten her name, to be honest. The ending was sweet, though, so I gave it a 3 instead of a 2.
This has been sitting in my audibles for a LONG, LONG time. A friend forced me to read it along with her and I’m not upset about it, thank you friend.
The book is not bad, unfortunately the first half of this book is shown in the movie Something Borrowed, which I saw.
I couldn’t help picturing Kate Hudson the entire time as Darcy, which I wasn’t upset about. What did bother me is how dramatic and extra Darcy is in the beginning.
I had heard this book was based off Darcys point of view and I’m glad it was in my audibles because Something Borrowed makes her the villain but in Something Blue, at least after the first chapters, you learn to love her.

It's that time of the season where I have a bit of free time to read and catch up with novels. This is one of them.
After reading and watching the movie, "Something Borrowed", I was curious enough to try reading it's sequel. However, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't going to focus on Rachel and her aftermath with Dex. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised the main character was going to be Darcy. I knew it was definitely going to be a redemption story but inside, I still intensely disliked Darcy for what she has done in the previous book. Still, my curiosity outweighed how I was feeling and I took the leap of faith to read the events that would unfold after Darcy and Rachel broke off their friendship.
The first few hundred pages, we get to really dig deep in Darcy's perspective and why she did the things she had done to Rachel and those around her. I wasn't a fan of that because I already disliked her but the author's writing had slowly convinced me otherwise, especially with the reintroduction of Ethan through Darcy's eyes. Soon enough, I was turning page by page wanting to find out how things would unfold between the two of them in London. I knew it was going to be predictable with how they will end up but I won't lie: by the end, I was rooting for Darcy to be with him.
All and all, this book was an easy read and it helped expand more of the Something Borrowed universe. I hope to read more of the author's work and if there is more of the same characters in another novel. I would give it a higher score but the plot, as I mentioned before, was very predictable by the end. It still gave a heartfelt feeling, especially with the relationships between several characters.

This book was cute. A little too saccharine for my taste by the end, but it was a nice, quick read about growing up and realizing what's important in life. Darcy had experienced two horrible break ups in Something Borrowed, but worked to pull it all together in Something Blue, which I think a lot of women have had to do at different points in their life. The characters in this book are a little obvious, but I think that's because if you've ever been to high school or college, you know people like them. Somehow it makes you care about the protagonists of both books like they're your friends in real life. You want them to work it out, but understand how they could be at their wits end with each other. I appreciate good "chick lit" (blech, I hate that term) on a lazy day just as much as I appreciate a good "chick flick" (double blech!) on a rainy day. It's time-passing yet when done well, entertaining and engaging. These books actually make me interested in what else Emily Giffin has to offer. I'd definitely recommend the series if you're looking for a fun read!
Language---- also- hated that she ended up with Ethan....
