4/5. I mean, it’s a Stephanie Plum novel. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s enjoyable fluff fiction. I liked this one better than the last few - the plot line with Morelli’s grandma was funny. I would have liked to have seen a bit more on Connie - I feel like there was potential to really have us connect with her character more, and that fell flat. But the standard trashed car, ridiculous sub-plot and shenanigans with Grandma Mazur. It was the fluff I expected.

3.5 stars rounded up. Not as many zany antics or funny one-liners, but I like that Evanovich seemed to get back to the basics and didn't have Stephanie wallowing in self-pity too much in this one.

As always the antics of Stephanie Plum and her exhooker Lula did not disappoint. This book is the 29th in the series. It is silly and crazy. A little predictable, but SO much fun!

If you've been reading the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, then this is one that you will want to read. It follows the same formula as the other books, Stephanie is in danger, her car blows up, Lula eats 100 donuts, they visit the fried chicken place, and their is a viewing where trouble ensues.

If you're familiar with the series, you know these things will be happening and it is probably what keeps you coming back for more. This one was interesting because one of the favorite characters, Connie, goes missing. Also, Bella, Joe's grandmother that gives people the eye curse, is in this book a lot more. It is laugh out loud funny the things that this crazy lady does. She is even more crazy than Stephanie's grandma.

If you're looking for a serious mystery, this is not for you. But if you want a funny, ridiculous, laugh out loud adventure-mystery with a never ending love triangle, then this series is right up your alley.

The Ranger vs Morelli plot line is getting annoying in my opinion, and Stephanie and Morelli need to grow up. I think Morelli is hesitant because Stephanie still has a relationship with Ranger. This plot line has been overdone and we need to move on.

Maybe I am just tired of Stephanie Plum and her not choosing between Ranger (my favorite) or Joe. Still some funny parts that made me laugh out loud but all in all it drug for me and I found myself skimming through.

I was gifted this title by one of Ari's coworkers, so I wanted to give it a try, even if Evanovich's books have never caught my eye before. Well, I found this quite boring, perhaps because it's the 29th in the series about the bail bond enforcer Stephanie Plum. Maybe if I had more background, I'd be more invested in the characters and what they do. Furthermore, while I appreciated the attempts at humor, most of the jokes just didn't land for me. So, overall, not my cup of tea!

Stephanie is as ready as she can be to start her day at work when she arrives at Vinnie’s Bail Bonds and it is locked up tight and Connie, the office manager, is nowhere to be found. The truth is discovered when they receive a call from the kidnapper. They will let Connie go if-and-when a coin used for collateral is returned. The coin is no longer at the bail bonds office and it is now up to Stephanie and her friends to discover where the coin went and return it to Connie’s captor. Why is this coin so important? How will Stephanie and her friends get out of this situation?

Going Rogue is the twenty-ninth Stephanie Plum book and it was a fun and easy escape. The overall story is only slightly different from past escapades, yet it is still enjoyable. Stephanie is just as accident prone and the bad guys aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed either. Although there are a lot of repeats, Evanovich has still created an entertaining story that left me feeling lighthearted and pleased.
