Ummm

Yeah I don’t.

I liked Josh. That’s about it.

This book felt very rushed. It jumped time a lot without being super clear. I felt confused for most of it. I found Kyle to be extremely annoying and we never get a reason for why Kayla turned on her? Sophia was sooo dramatic. Everything was no one will ever love me. I’m nothing I’m useless. Blah blah blah. And I’m not saying that those feelings aren’t real feelings people experience. I have experienced them. But this felt so in your face and dramatic it was almost not believable. Bax felt like an unnecessary character and he was very clingy when all they were supposed to be were f- buddies. Josh and Kyles parents were so strange. She was sitting on Josh’s lap while he was rubbing it in Kyles face that’s they were sleeping together and her parents just kept eating?? Loved the scene so much but it didn’t feel realistic. Ryan just shows up out of nowhere. The last 20% felt so rushed for no reason. We know nothing about this guy and all of a sudden he’s back and she’s on a bender with him?? Then she’s pregnant? But not pregnant? And it’s Bax’s baby but it’s not because Kayla just made it up FOR REASONS STILL UNKNOWN. Kyle broke up with her because Kayla was blackmailing him and when it finally comes to light, Sophia doesn’t even find out? Not to mention the book just ends. It’s just over. She gets into a car accident that apparently “isn’t that bad” but it takes days for Josh to be allowed to go back and see her? Then he finally does and they’re just like oh we’re together now? Kiss. The end. THATS IT.

It felt so unfinished. I want answers. Does Sophia ever find out why Kyle did what he did? Why did Kayla? What happens to Bax and where does Ryan go? Does she ever get to go home? Give me more of her and Josh together. GIVE ME SMUT. I know I know that not every book is smutty or needs smut. But this has the perfect line up. I can’t even say it’s closed door. We don’t even get that. It’s just tension build up and then nothing. It’s just ends. They get interrupted or the subject gets changed and nothing ever happens.

Ugh. I feel disappointed. It had so much potential.

Decided to read this because it was free on kindle unlimited and saw it as a suggestion on Insta. I felt like this had so much potential but really just fell flat. The plot could have worked really well, it just felt like it was a lot of “telling” rather than “showing”. Instead of describing emotions, it was like “she was upset”. Also there were just a bunch of editing errors that just make it feel like it was super rushed as a book. In the end I didn’t like any characters, the scenes that could have been super intense were just plain bad and there was close to no character development. Some things could have just been left out so more important scenes could be dragged out (in a good way).

Give me back the time I wasted looking for this book and reading this book. I pray the person who made the edit that made me want to read this book falls off a cliff. It's books like this that don't make me feel bad about pirating books because imagine I PAID for this
