This was a sweet holiday treat, three interconnected Christmas romance stories make Christmas Kisses magical. Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers ChocLit for granting me access to this book.

The first romance is with Holly Michelle Jolly, who hates Christmas. She only goes by the name Michelle. Hard and fiercely independent Michelle is at first not interested in the always spirited and happy to help Sean. But then there is romance and falling in love. And it just a pleasure to read. The second story is about Cora who is briefly introduced in Michelle's and Sean's romance. Cora is rebuilding her life after a long and painful year. Then the final story is of Jessica who is Michelle's best friend. I thoroughly enjoyed how each story was divided between the main heroine's perspective and the man pursuing her. Of the three love stories the one I enjoyed the most was Cora's Kiss and her relationship with Liam.
If you enjoy contemporary romance then these stories are perfect for the holidays.

Finn Dubose is on a year long venture to get her life back on track after getting divorced from her husband. Her and her dog Scorch began in Miami and are now ending their journey with their last three months to be spent in Vine Grove, Washington.

Keaton Vanhorn is a veterinarian in Vine Grove and finds himself immediately attracted to Finn and the two begin to spend time together, enjoying each others company.

Unfortunately Finn has kept a couple of things from Keaton and when he finds out will he be headed right for the door or will he trust Finn enough to let her explain and give her a solid chance at forgiveness?

I enjoyed this Christmas treat! Finn was great and I loved how she was able to take time for herself to find herself after her marriage ending. Although she ended up with some issues in Miami that seemed to follow her around I think she finally was able to find herself.

I completely understand why Keaton was mad at being kept in the dark with certain important things. I think I would be quite upset as well!

I also really liked Tegan Taylor, the owner of Que Syrah Syrah Wine Shop and how they had a great group of girls that got together. I truly believe there needs to be more girl get togethers like this!

Such a great Christmas romance!

This was a sweet, albeit short, holiday romance. I didn't realize before I started reading that it is book 2 in a series, but this book stands very well on its own. I enjoyed the small town setting, and the secondary characters were well-developed and interesting. Finn, the heroine, was also remarkably well developed given the length of the story, but I would have liked to get to know Keaton, the hero, a bit better. I didn't learn much about him other than that he was a veterinarian and that he had never been married before.

Beyond that, the book contained some typos (e.g. "prefect" instead of "perfect") and grammatical errors (e.g. "its" instead of "it's"), but fortunately they didn't detract from the story. Overall, it was a pleasant, quick read, and I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another of Ms. Kleve's books in the future.

*Complimentary copy of the Kindle edition provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

A sweet Christmas short story that fans of dogs, small towns and cozy settings will enjoy. The biggest challenge with this short story is that it should have been a book. I know with Christmas/holiday stories, they tend to be short and often in anthologies. I think it’s a challenge for authors who typically write longer pieces to pare a story back to its essence when fitting it within the confines of so few pages – in this case, only about 25 pages. It’s too bad because I really enjoyed the characters, particularly the grandmother who’s not the focus of the story, the settings, and the dogs!. The set-up would make an excellent longer romance novel, so the reader’s left wanting more.

Our heroine Finn is getting over her divorce after her five- year marriage to William. Her wise and spunky grandmother has decided that Finn is spinning her wheels and that she needs to get out of town. Finn’s a romance novel editor and can take her job anywhere, so she embarks on a year long journey with three months spent in four different locations across the United States. It’s this aspect of the story that I really wish would have been explored more. It would have been great to watch Finn as she grew, matured and got over her marriage as well as the friends she develops at each spot. By concentrating on just one piece of the journey, we only get snippets of the story. The first chapter also felt as if it crammed way too much in that wasn’t needed to set the story up. For example, Finn makes a stop at a lodge in a different town and decides to leave right away. It did not add to the narrative. I’d rather have seen more of the development between our main character. The romance is sweet, but the plot was too big for a story this short.

I’ve not read Ms. Kleve’s books before – the set-up, plotting, and characters of this book all fit what I like to read and I look forward to seeing those aspects in a longer book.

Ahh what a lovely Christmassy novella. I feel all festive now that I’ve read it! If you are looking for a nice, short, easy read then I definitely recommend Christmas Kisses and Wishes by Sharon Kleve.

The story is about Finn who is on a 12 month holiday following her divorce. She moves around every 3 months looking for somewhere to settle. She finds herself in the small town of Vine Grove and instantly falls in love but is it the town or the super-hot veterinarian Keaton Vanhorn that make her stay?

I thought this book had some lovely characters. I really liked Finn she was funny and kind and Keaton – well any man who loves animals so passionately is always going to be a winner with me! Obviously with the story being so short their relationship started quite quickly but sometimes people do find that instant connection and fall in love straight away.

I think it takes a really good author to be able to get so much story into such a short book and I wasn’t disappointed with this novella, I really enjoyed it. I think it had potential to be a full length novel as it had some really good elements that could easily have been expanded upon. I could also imagine this being a lovely heart-warming holiday film.

Overall a really good novella and I give it 4 stars!
