3.5 stars!! it was good and i enjoyed reading it, it was very easy to get through, however parts were kinda slow to get through, and i felt like they were just trying to tie things together at the end.

This book had a lot of enjoyable parts to it, the ties between the friends that have been severed due to the accident being put back together, the mysteries around some of the issues finally being resolved, the relationships all really well done. Where this book fell flat for me is you found out so much so quickly that the last 50 pages although important I didn’t really care about. I have also read this “notes from the deceased” trope before and I don’t think it’s really my thing, although this one has a twist that I should have seen coming this book for me was just ok.

I was really looking forward to this book and I found it very disappointing. In some parts it was very confusing and I had to re-read it to understand what was happening. Even after I had re-read those parts I still thought the book was missing something. Overall I had expected this book to be better and if your looking for a good murder mystery book to read there are better ones.

Okay so I feel like this book had so much potential, it sounded so good. I was really interested to begin with. Quickly I realized this wasn’t like a mystery or a thriller. That wasn’t my only problem. My biggest problem was the writing style. The characters felt everything on this large lofty bigger than Existence feeling scale. If that even makes sense. And some of the metaphors and descriptions were odd and didn’t make sense. Some of the things they describe happening and feeling were just weird and didn’t make sense. This book fell really flat for me and I don’t recommend it. This book reminds me of something that wants to be huge and life changing but doesn’t know how so it pretends to be. I feel like this is a terribly written review but it’s hard to describe the way this book was written.
