When life takes an unexpected twist for Reed and he’s now an overnight single dad things get complicated real quick. Holland has crushed on Reed for forever, but never made a move because of Emery her long time best friend!
When Reed asks Holland to travel with him for Hockey to watch Reed’s nephew, unexpected attraction sparks between them and what’s suppose to be temporary becomes something they both can’t live without!!

I loved their story and the fact that they have been around each other along time, but it took Reed a little longer to open his eyes and really see Holland. This is only the start of the Totally Pucked Series and I love getting to watch the character grow in the books that follow it!

This is the first book in the Totally Pucked series. There is a "prequel" book to this one called "The Newspaper Nanny" but it is not necessary to read these books.

This book follows Reed Davidson as he goes from being responsible playboy of the Avalanches to becoming a guardian to his nephew, Evan, and falling for his sister's best friend. I absolutely loved Reed. He starts out as a player and protective brother, but when he's all of sudden thrown into a difficult situation, he adapts. His character growth in this book was incredible. It was nice to read about a guy asking for help when he needed it when it came to his nephew, instead of doing everything on his own.

Holland is really easy to relate to and love. Her love for her father and her best friend, Emery, is so beautiful, even though her heart wants what it wants. She has a big heart and it really shows when she meets Evan, you can see just how much love is in her soul and how much she's willing to give for that little boy.

Holland has always had a thing for Reed. He is the older brother of her best friend, so she been good about never letting him know. But when she agrees to go with him on the road during his hockey games, that's when things start to change. Reed begins to see Holland in a different way and it becomes harder for them to resist each other and keep their distance.

Maren Moore writes such great steam. Reed and Holland deliver so many feels in this book and I absolutely devoured it in one sitting, because that’s just how fun, flirty and sexy Maren Moore’s stories are.

Def recommend if you like hockey romance, single-dad, friends to lovers, best friend's brother type of tropes.

The problem that I have with Change on the Fly is Holland, the heroine. I get into the point. Holland is heroine who is super self conscious that bordering annoying. So annoying that I want to slap her. Miss Moore did not adding excitement on the plot.

I thought this book is going to be easy, clean NA romance. Just perfect to close my weekend. Sadly I am so wrong.

Dare I say daddy Reed is my favourite DILF that Maren has written because he is up there!

Reed is a playboy or was a playboy until something tragic happened and he became a father to his nephew. Reed has nieces, they may not be biological but he has been there for them since they were born. He knows how to change a diaper, he knows how to play with children but when he is thrust into fatherhood it’s a whole new world for him. Enter Holland his younger sisters best friend who has had a secret crush on Reed since she was a kid. Knowing that he needs help to look after his nephew it’s a no brainer. She is there to help him anyway she can including going on the road with him for hockey.

Reed and Holland have a connection, you can feel it through the pages but it’s the way that Maren writes the story that makes it so beautiful! She may have had a crush on him when she was younger and he might’ve been a playboy but together they grow so much and it’s beautiful watching their relationship build.

I must say that Reed was especially sweet when he took Holland to the alzheimer’s farm for her dad! That scene was honestly so swoony and brought a tear to my eye because of how much he cares for not only Holland but her dad as well because he was there when Reeds dad wasn’t.

It wouldn’t be true Maren fashion without some dirty talk and boy were those scenes HOT.

Reed - DADDY, DILF! He is hands down sexy in this story and trust me when I say just go and read it!

4.25/5
A quick romance hockey read with an actual great amount of spice. I feel like the book could have been better if it wasn't that short because I needed more moments between Reed and Holland. Therefore, I find it a bit exaggerated to speak about being in love. It would have been more realistic if there would have been more scenes of them alone together. Still this book is a great read.
