This book helped me get out of my reading slump, hopefully. I really enjoyed the characters and the story took an unexpected/expected turn. I was a nice wintery contemporary story. I love J. Lynn's writing! Overall on a percent scale I would give it an 85%. I had some really steamy scenes that weren't bad to read either. ;)

Este libro me volvió loca, demasiadas idas y vueltas y mucha falta de comunicación.
Me puso tan de los nervios que quería saltarme páginas.
Los protagonistas son amigos desde la infancia y están enamorados del otro pero obvio ninguno sabe que es correspondido.
Sydney está totalmente convencida de que Kyler la ve solo como una amiga por lo cual no hace ningún movimiento y sufre en silencio.
Ella es muy insegura, la verdad su POV fue exasperante pero entiendo de donde viene todo porque el de verdad no se lo dejaba fácil. Encima desde que secundaria el la dejaba plantada para irse con chicas, le prometía cosas que terminaba no cumpliendo y cancelaba planes con frecuencia así que ella está muy segura que el no siente nada por ella y es obvio que porque nunca tuvo el valor de confesarle como se sentía. Además de todo esto tiene un ex idiota con una boca muy grande.
A pesar de todas estas cosas si no fuera por ella nada iba a pasar así que ella es la impulsora de todo y creo que el otro lenteja tendría que hacerle un altar.
Kyler no creer ser lo suficientemente bueno para Sydney entonces procede a acostarse con todo lo que camine. Lo que no entendí de Kyler es que el siempre sostiene que ella merece algo mejor que el y este sentimiento de insuficiencia siempre viene ligado a que el se acuesta con muchas mujeres y tiene encuentros de una noche con mujeres que ni siquiera se acuerda el nombre, mi problema es ¿Por qué hace esto si le da vergüenza como lo deja al los ojos de Sydney? El solo empezó su propia razón para no estar con Sidney pero no para porque ella "merece algo mejor" y parece que la razón por la que hace esto es porque no puede estar con ella así que el camino más lógico fue estar con todas las demás mujeres que se crucé, este hombre creo su propio obstáculo y lo alimento por años, juro que no podía creer lo idiota que fue.
El romance por así decirlo empieza porque Sidney da el primer paso, algunos malentendidos después por fin están juntos y todo parece bien. En este punto tengo que decir que el romance me gustó, los dos se quieren mucho y la química es muy buena pero no valió la pena tanta exasperación.
Después de eso seguimos con más malentendidos y final feliz.
No me parece un mal libro pero definitivamente no es para mi, creo que si lo hubiera leído a los 16 lo iba a disfrutar mucho más pero ahora no pude aguantar tanto drama innecesario.

A nice relaxing read for in between books. Some misogynistic remarks from the character unfortunately. Cute love story, nothing revolutionary.

I lovvvvveeee Friends to lover so freaking much! This was the 3rd time I have read this book and the first time I have “listened.”
And I still love Sydney and Kyler’s story as much as I did the first time.
It was a little immature but it is what I loved about this book. They are in College and just getting to know who they are. So that childish head state is there and you kind of expect it.
I love the two narrators it really helped with the pov’s and I got to say they did a great job. Though I think I would want to just pick up my paperback because I just loved the book that way for so long.
And if you know me you know I am allll about the audiobook, I guess I just have that eye reading connection with this beauty.

Well I'm disappointed. I don't know what I expected but this wasn't it. I really like [a:Jennifer L. Armentrout|4476934|Jennifer L. Armentrout|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1290636579p2/4476934.jpg] Lux series but this was bad. Really bad.
There is so much sexism and double standards and BS and I didn't like it. Why must it always be that the guy is a totally attractive man whore and the girl a quiet yet beautiful virgin of some sorts. In this case only had sex once. Then the sweet girl falls for the tough guy and live happily ever after. Not to mention all slut shaming and loss of individuality.
The guy sleeps with like a million girls but he's still seen as the good guy. As a man who could end up with the properly raised girl. But all those girls the boy sleeps with are called whores and are shamed for it. The guy walks away clean and the girls are labeled as bitches. Excuse my langue. But that is such BS!
Then the girl always looses her quiet self to please the boy and have him like her instead of the boy changing something about himself or even better: stay the way they are!
I did not like the characters. I don't know how someone can say they loved Kyler. He was a man whore and the fact that he was in love did not justify anything. I also hated Sydney. She had such a weak spine! She would just let Kyler do all those things to her! It made her look desperate and pathetic. She could have stood up for herself. She should of said 'NO' and demanded to be treated the way she deserved. Instead she was OK with becoming just another one night stand in Kyler's long line. That is demeaning and makes her look like such a weak person. And again, the fact that she was in love does not justify this. Neither of them thought with their brains. They didn't even think with their hearts. Instead they were using what each has bellow the belt.
This was such a cliche, stereotypical story.
It reminded me of [b:Beautiful Disaster|11505797|Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1)|Jamie McGuire|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1358259032s/11505797.jpg|16441531] except that book was better and less offensive to me.
