meh i don’t know the premise was nice the execution not much

This is a nice story about two best friends who have denied themselves their attraction to one another for far too long, and what it takes for them to finally end up together in their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed the characters, I could kind of see the plot coming from a ways away but that didn't mean I didn't enjoy it. It wasn't long and drawn out with unnecessary conflict like some books have, it was well written and thought out and I would recommend it to anyone who likes MM.
There is cheating, so if that's a trigger for you this one might not be appropriate.

• MM Romance
• Unrequited Love
• Friends To Lovers
• Docking

I really enjoyed this audio book. I liked the characters although I wished the MCs had gotten together a little differently. The docking scene was so hot, it will forever live rent free in my head. You should check out this book just for that scene

I liked the story and i loved Teddy Hamilton’s narration but I couldn’t fully get into it. It was entertaining and light to read tho.

This one was complicated. I liked it, but not as much as the other books from Marley Valentine that I have read. There was a lot going on. Mutual pining best friends, one friend is engaged to be married to a woman. Cheating happens by one of the MCs, but not to each other. I usually don't vibe with that, but it didn't make me as uncomfortable as it usually does, but just be aware. I felt it was a little odd that we got a few chapters from Elana's POV. It felt a little out of place and unnecessary. All in all, this wasn't a bad book, just not my favorite. The story was fine and the characters were great. I will still recommend this because I love Marley.

This is one of those stories that sucks you in and doesn’t let go until the end. Hiding your feelings is never fun or easy. Jordan and Gael know that all too well. Friends since Kindergarten, they have always been close. Gael is engaged to someone else and Jordan is ready to put his feelings aside for his friend.
An emotional story that shows the value of friendship, importance of family, unconditional support and love.

This was decent. Not my favorite Marley Valentine. I truly think the whole amnesia subplot was not necessary. I also fully understand why MV would choose to write in Elena's perspective but since I'm supposed to root for the cheating men's relationship it made it difficult for me to emphasize with Elena at the end of the day. I ended up thinking she was a real jerk. Her second chapter was more compelling, but still also could have easily been portrayed in a letter to one of the MMCs. I don't think she truly needed her own chapters. I had a good time for the most part. This isn't a story I would revisit. Again I still felt so close to these characters and their family as well - MV does such an incredible job of dropping you in the middle of it and really establishing compelling characters in a short time frame.

I loved everything about Jordan and Gael’s friends to lovers story. It was sweet, complicated, and gut wrenching. It warmed my heart and made me cry. It was emotionally exhausting, but I didn’t want it to end. Their connection was undeniable and they’re the kind of characters you can’t help rooting for. I highly recommend this 5 star must read!
