Well, this won't work at all. I hate the "I'm not good enough for you" or "you're better off without me " shit.

Second chance romance has always been one of my least favorite tropes, but when certain authors (such as Corinne) writes them then I can't read them fast enough.

These Arrowood brothers are just DREAMY

I adore second chance trope <3

“But I love you, Sydney, and I’m going to marry you. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not next week or even next month, but one day, you’re going to be my wife, even if it means I have to chase you to the ends of the earth.”

A truly emotional romance!

I loved Declan and Sydney’s story so much. After meeting them both and learning a little of their story, I couldn't wait to get my hands on their book. I knew, being a second chance romance, that this would be emotional yet I still wasn't ready for how deeply emotional it got.

They have both been through a lot and have never been able to move on from each other. Watching them deal with everything in their path was emotional, beautiful, steamy, and full of true love. Their road to a happily ever after is the furthest thing from easy but sometimes the pain is what gets you to the best parts.

I am so in love with these Arrowood brothers and I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I really like second chance romances but I was a bit hesitant with this one since I thought the MMC reason for leaving was bs. Thankfully, even though I still feel like Declan was being an idiot, I really enjoyed this one. I really like the whole universe so far and I can't wait to read about Sean and Jacob next! Sydney was a really nice FMC but I think she needed to make Declan grovel even more but, under the circumstances that they were in, I understand why she forgave him quite easily. Loved seeing EllieConnor crumbs

Dear lord the emotional ride I went through while reading Sydney and Declan’s story. Just when I thought I’d breathe easy, along came another emotional punch that’d knock me out. It wasn’t easy, but what this story put me through was well worth it in the end.

Eight years. It’s been eight years since everything Sydney once wanted walked away, he took her dreams with him when he left and never looked back. She’s accomplished so much since then, but there’s still that void that’ll never be filled. Sydney has endured so much, but it hasn’t defined her. If anything it’s made her stronger and a fighter. I loved Sydney and how courageous she was. I loved how she fought tooth and nail for what she wanted, even if it was an insurmountable battle.

Declan Arrowood broke my heart. Always the protector and taking care of the people he loved he made an excruciating decision that would irrevocably change his life and the life of the girl he’s ever loved and breaking both their hearts in the process. He’s spent years punishing himself for the sins of his father and denying himself happiness. I hurt for him and what he was putting himself through and I just wanted him to realize he was nothing like his father so he could finally have the happiness he rightfully deserved.

Syd and Declan were written in the stars. From a very young age their hearts knew they belonged to each other. Even after years apart they never stopped loving each other. There are so many things to be discussed, mainly why Declan left all those years ago. Syd needs answers and then maybe finally she’ll have the closure she seeks. Syd and Declan’s journey is a fought battle, one that is soul consuming, achingly heartbreaking, and beautifully heartwarming. These two touched my heart and I absolutely loved them.

Fight for Me is a second chance romance with an abundance of emotion. Syd and Declan’s story tugged at all my heartstrings. I loved getting back to Sugarloaf and getting more of these rambunctious Arrowood brothers. I can’t wait for more of this incredible series.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book*

4.5 stars!

We're back in Sugarloaf, and once again Corinne made me cry! She's so good at that!

Declan Arrowood and Sydney Hastings are first loves. He left her suddenly one night eight years ago, and if you've read Come Back for Me you know why. As much as she's tried, Sydney has never stopped loving Declan. Their story is a constant push and pull of love and hate and feelings, and surprises, I really enjoyed this one!

"I'm not breakable, and I don't need you to protect me, I need you to choose me."

Fight for Me is supremely angsty, and one hell of a slow burn (in my humble opinion), and I ate it up! Steam when it needed to be with a beautiful story and supreme character development, Corinne once again gave me a story that I'll love for a long time with a great segue into Devney and Sean's story!

Well, I like this book more than I expected. I have my reservation when I read some reviews saying the heroine does not have backbone and doormat. While the hero is unapologetic character. I braced myself.

While I listen to it, somehow I grow symphatic toward Sydney. Yes she is doormat. But something tugged on my heart. If I have the love of my life left and suddenly came back, of course I have some resentment toward him. And Miss Michaels pens it down in a little bit immature way.

What is missing is the angst from Declan's past. If only there is more drama then this book will be great.

Overall I do enjoy this book very much.
