Hilarious. Endearing. I love these people. I love their ridiculous adventures.
I don't watch Big Bang Theory often (eventually, I want to watch the whole series), but when do, I really enjoy Sheldon Cooper. I think the comparison between Don Tillman & Sheldon is pretty accurate, except that instead of this:

...with bad hair & glasses...and also washboard abs under his terrible clothes.
Don might be one of my favorite literary characters of the year. While he's completely oblivious to some things, he's extremely self-aware in others. He struggles to balance maintaining his individuality with conforming enough to make his own life and others' lives easier. He's written humorously, but still has some depth. All the main characters are well-rounded, not just caricatures.
The type of humor is similar to [b:Where'd You Go, Bernadette|13526165|Where'd You Go, Bernadette|Maria Semple|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1338822317s/13526165.jpg|17626728] and I think would appeal to the same type of reader.
Warning: There's an element of Rom-Com here, which some readers might find too cutesy.
(First read December 2-3, 2013)
After second reading: Just a little more than a year later, I still adore this book and am looking forward to reading more about Don & Rosie. (
Reread January 11-12, 2015)

Loved the dialogue of the narrator. Funny book. Just a bit slow.
I would have finished this book in a day if I didn't have to do things like adult, eat, and work. It starts off quick and kept my interest throughout. The story was amusing and clever. The characters were easy to enjoy and quirky. Overall, a great easy read, nothing too heavy. It is a great book to sit down and relax with.

I really enjoyed this book. Told from the perspective of Don who has undiagnosed Asbergers. He misses social queues, and seems to think he will avoid being disappointed if he looks only for a very specific person to date. But the Rosie comes along.
This really a funny story but can also be applied to anyone. Sometimes when you focus too much on one thing you realize that what will make you happy is entirely different.
