This book was so damn good. I don't think there's anything that Rachel can't write that wouldn't be a 5 star read. This book was just so good you won't want to stop reading it once you dive in it will have you on the edge of your seat as the character's begin their stories and the twists and turns and wild ride this arthur took me on had me trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The next book can't get here fast enough.

Let them all grovel! I can't wait to read the second part of this book. This 1st part showed the connection between all the characters and I can't wait to see how this second book plays out.

R.A. Smyth is a master of writing dark, bully romances. I am a big fan of her books. This one is my favorite. This book has my emotions going everywhere. I became very invested in Riley's life.
There were so many ups and downs of emotions in this book. I'm not going to lie. I was so tempted to throw my Kindle a few times. I was like, why can't this girl get a damn break. Oh, and I wish nothing but bad karma for her mom. That lady is a piece of work.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next book and how the boys will grovel for forgiveness.

Frozen Hearts is the first installment in a dark, gripping, bully reverse harem romance. I was completely sucked in right from the beginning, and it's been a while since I've read a reverse harem quite as dark as this one. It deals with some really difficult and emotional topics and I thought the author did an excellent job of balancing out the hard to read emotional aspects with the steamy scenes as Riley interacts with each of the men. Frozen Hearts hits the gamut of tropes here and it does it all really well - from the bully situation between the three men and Riley, to seeing her going through her life and trying to get through started a new school.
When we are first introduced to Riley we figure out early on that she is dealing with some tragic and toxic things from her past and trying to simply forge ahead keeping her head down and getting through life. We meet each of the men over the course of story, especially as they come into contact with Riley and I loved how they are were really distinct characters with their own difficulties, and as different as they are, they have a really tight friendship. That adds to intrigue and suspense as the story moves forward. The college setting worked really well because we get some great interactions with the classroom, studying and partying scenes and it's juxtaposed well with the really dark aspects we get as things move further along. I felt like I was on the edge waiting to see what would happen next and how everything would play out and come together. I can't wait for the next installment to this series!
