Charlotte is REALLY down on her luck, and what she does NOT need is finding herself the spectacle in her brother's old flat's lounge when his teammates return home early from an away game. Except, well... There she is. And, it's not quite as uncomfortable for all of them as they all might have thought.

As Jace (who is Charlotte's Brother's Best Friend), Roman (the enigmatic goalie) and Mateo (the life of the party) adjust to having Charlotte living with them, they have to juggle their friendship with Charlotte's brother, Harrison, who is also their captain and their old roommate.

As each of these characters navigate the new aspects of their lives, they learn more of themselves and each other, and find way to move forward.

Jace had the most to realise and learn, considering his longstanding relationship and history with Harrison and Charlotte. I loved watching him accept his truth, and act on it. Watching him come fully out of his shell.

Roman and Mateo have also been best friends for a while, and as they address all that comes up, they too learn and grow into better and stronger men.

I loved watching the dynamics between the characters develop. I loved their banter and interactions. I loved the story and I adored the ending! Certainly A story I look forward to reading again in the future.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Books like these are my guilty pleasure and it paired with Hockey is a dream. I don't know, I mean I've really enjoyed it but I didn't really read it seriously if you know what I mean so I think that me not taking it serious really impacted my rating of it. I mean I did enjoy it but I lowkey have the feeling that I can't rate it better I don't know I just have the feeling of a 3.5 star book, I really liked the Characters they were cutesie but there also was a lot of Drama I mean I get where it came from but still I wasn't the biggest fan of it.

This was a fun why choose/reverse harem read! I liked all the characters within the group. I hated Charlie's brother. Okay, I hate Charlie's brother.
And her mother for that matter. However, the spice was spicy. The love was cute. I adore a bi-awakening. I live for hardware, IYKYK.
I did realize while reading this that the 'big brother is a controlling, strangely interested in her sex life, wayyyy beyond protective and just straight weird trope is probably one of my least favorites. Also, lying when there is literally ZERO reason to lie. This book could have existed without a single lie and there could have still been conflict.
Either way, I thought it was cute and it kept me interested!

I received this an arc. Can this be a 10, they warned us our panties weren't ready for it and my god they were not kidding. I love both of these lovely ladies writing but combined i'm not sure the world can handle it. Go pre order it, it's coming out the 24th of may. I loved the group together with their relationship building. Fanning myself this book was literally fire.

Can I just say I ate this book up and actually really liked it! I love how the authors did such a great job with giving each character their own personality and growth as well as some background for them! I really liked how throughout the book Charlotte really grew into her confidence and because such a strong person who overcomes her insecurity and doesn’t let it rule her life. Jace was definitely my favorite even though he annoyed the heck out of me in the beginning
