“You can stop swimming now, Lily. We finally reached the end of this shitty book.”

I don't know how to rate this book. The edit was surprisingly bad; some sentences straight up didn't make sense. I wish I'd read the content warnings. But that was a hell of a last line.

A pretty solid 3 stars, I think the book deserves hype but not as much as it got. I was expecting like a 5/5 starbook and honestly it wasn't that... I did however enjoy how well Colleen Hoover is able to make you hate someone so much, and how much your rooting for lily, the protagonist, and really sticking to her side. Someone also really needs to take away the italics key from Ms Hoover, because though I thought the idea of the letter being a way to show lily's past, I found them really one sided and difficult to read, and I found it really annoying to have to try and understand it. Generally decent, but way too overhyped. Not the best, not bad either.
