This book was recommended to me throughout my career by many behavior analysts and I can see why. It truly illustrates the behavior analytic concepts of positive reinforcement, motivation, avoidance, etc with relatable examples and explains them in plain English. It is unfortunate that this way of interacting with one another is not more mainstream, even among those of us in the business of changing behavior.

Wow. Great advice. I'm totally using this advice for my day-to-day life.
What can I say about this book. It's a classic. It has all the knowledge that deep within ourselves we all know, but occasionally we need a little help from someone that reminds us about the importance of relationships in our lives and how we can improve them, then is when this book comes out. Also, note aside, it was the first book I bought in English from Bookdepository.
the tips were decent, but the book relies heavily on anecdotoal stories to support its points, and some of the more far-fetched claims lack proper sourcing, it undermines the overall credibility.

Professor suggested my class read this before we start classes. Um. It's fine. Definitely yhe blueprint for more self help books to come. Still has some useful things. Definitely meant for like business people to use. Focused on using to be more successful as a manager/leader. Decent advice. A lot of it has been put into the lexicon at this point. It's a neither here nor there book for me.
