Super good book! Really loved it. It's just not something that I ever saw before because of the love triangle and all, but the idea of the fairywas awsome

This was easy to get into at first but so hard to stay into. Took much longer to read than it should have..
Main character was plain, boring, just uninteresting. I was finally determined enough to get it over with and it was a major down.

Interesting take on fairies. Glad I have the rest of the books so I can see where this goes.
This is one of the first faery books I've read. The faery mythology was unique and I enjoyed it, but overall the basic storyline felt like it had been done lots before.
It is not the worst YA I've read, but it was so very formulaic. You know exactly what happens just by the title and the fact that it's YA.
The books does not stand on its own at all. Not EVERY book has to be a series, and I find it incredibly annoying when flimsy little books like this are made into them.
I bet the series as a whole, well-editied and combined into a single book, would have been a satisfying read.
I will say though that for young tweens, this would be a good book. It's nice every once in a while to have a book that is not heavy on the dark-and-edgy. This is much more innocent, a little tween daydream.

What a beautiful book! It proves a book doesn't need to be complicated and full of unnecessary things to be good. I loved all the characters. Laurel is great, David is sweet, her parents are awesome, Chelsea is a great friend and Tamani.. Oh, Tam... How wonderful he is. Laurel and Tam's story was very emotional for me, very beautiful. The best fairy book I've read so far.
I liked this book. It was really, REALLY, slow in the beginning, and it took me forever to get into, but I kept on reading anyways, because I was bored.
It probably wasn't until page 200 out of 300 that I actually got interested in the story.
Will I read the second book? Probably.
