Grey is starting to become one of my favorite artists this year. I enjoy a good series and it seems that the majority of the books that she writes all intertwine. This story is about Lyric and how her feeling that she doesn't deserve happiness and falling in love is holding her back. She has always had a crush on Keanu and he, her but they've been fighting the feelings until his recent release from prison. That is where their story begins.

This book wrecked me in a good way. Laniah and Isaac are lifelong best friends that have been through horrible experiences together but their friendship never faltered. They have been there for each other even though now they are opposite ends of the country. When Laniah needs Isaac to show up, he doesn't hesitate to come home from California to Rhode Island like it is an hour drive. It seems they are doing a slow dance of figuring out adulting and if their feelings are worth the risk it could cause to their friendship because they are all they know. But what is a reward if you don't take a risk? This book made me cry happy and sad tears because it shows that soulmates will find each other regardless of the distance, time, and place. "Maybe a soulmate connection isn’t something you just feel, maybe it’s something you have to be committed to building.”

This book was probably one of the darkest ones I have read this year. It is truly sad but also shows how family dynamics play a huge part of your life, nature vs nuture, and a mother's love.

Didn't love it - I feel like their story progressed quickly. Not sure if I will finish the series.

Somya and Zander meet unexpectedly when their daughters become fast friends on the first day of school. It was lust at first sight. From there they learn that they have more in common than they initially thought.
