Fun little Beauty and the Beast inspired story. Moves slowly, but is definitely worth the wait in the end, and the subsequent books in the series are much better.

Definitely worth a read and definitely worth sticking with to get to the rest.

Excellent plot progression, excellent cliff-hanger, excellent tension building.

Love the description of Velaris. SJM made me fall completely in love with a new fictional city. Fantastic sequel, cannot wait to finish the rest of the series. Very much worth the read for people who enjoy fantasy and romance.
