This book was a fun, light read. I enjoyed going back in time every few chapters to get a background into their relationship, as it added a lot to the story.

The Return by Nicholas Sparks has such detailed descriptions of places and people that it felt like I was right there with them. It was beautiful watching Trevor as he was mentally healing and learning new ways to cope. There were definitely a few things in there I feel like could help me in day to day life and I don’t have PTSD.
Learning about bees was so much fun. They are fascinating. The events in the book are so unique and it kept me wanting to know what was next.
Trevor was confusing to me at first but as I got to know him I found he was caring, thoughtful and overall full of love to give. He shows a care and concern for others and will not be pushed aside. It was enjoyable to join him on his journey of love in a variety of ways.
This book not only has a beautiful cover but also a beautiful story!
Thank you to GrandCentral Publishing for the copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. These opinions are my own.

The Fearless Miss Dinah is third in the series and I think my favorite of the series! Although I’m super excited for the next book because I can tell something has been brewing with Ms. Blackmoore!
Forced Marriage is one of my too favorite troupes and this one hits the mark! Dinah is feisty and fearless then Henry is hesitant and reserved. They each need each other and it takes a lot of effort on Dinah’s part to open Henry up. I loved watching them grow together as individuals and as a couple. Although it took a while, their conversations and openness in other aspects of life during their daily life was adorable. That friendship is such a great base of marriage.
This book was relaxing. The little family is beautiful and it’s been a joy to keep going back into their lives. The care and love is inspiring.

Do you like retellings?

I feel like they either do amazing or I have a hard time not comparing. I’ve actually never seen Seven Brides for Seven Brothers so I didn’t have to worry about the possibility of comparing.

This is a fun and fast paced book about finding 7 brothers wives. It all starts with the oldest Aiden and tumbles down from there. Camille, partially to her fault, is frustrated to find out that she not only married into a family of 7 boys but that 6 of those lived at home… like slobs. Aiden works hard to free up time but ends up away quickly after the marriage and leave Camille in charge. Camille takes it upon herself to get these manboys married off.

Aiden and Camille honestly weren’t my favorite MC I’ve read about. While flaws are great to show in books, I had a hard time connecting with them and their attitudes/actions or lack of.

I did enjoy the fun that comes with a house full of boys and also the matchmaking schemes. Each guy was unique and had a fun story. The meshing of Camille and the household was entertaining. The story is cute and fun… and I would have totally been fine with a longer book like all good books!

Thank you to Covenant Publishing and Anneka Walker for the ARC. These opinions are my own.

I enjoyed this little trip to cowboy country. Circumstances changed when Greta's intended is assumed dead. Wyatt and Greta's relationship is slow to grow but it is a beautiful relationship. Greta is so full of love for her sister and tries her hardest to do the right thing. I can't imagine being in her situation.

This was a fun and unique book! I loved going back in time and connecting the dots! Quinn and Minnie were both born on New Years at the same hospital yet never met until they were in their adult years… or did they? I liked how the book was mainly Minnie’s POV but appreciated Quinn’s POV as well!
So much character growth in this lovely book and not only with the MCs. The side characters were delightfully unique and added so much to the story.

This book sucked me in quick. The characters are incredible and deep. The story line is unpredictable and interesting. I thought I missed who was who and googled it… don’t do that! It’s meant to be a mystery and definitely would have added even more to this woven tale.
I feel I also have the patience of a “wet cat” just like Lia. You want a Princess story with a strong, tough and no nonsense Princess… here is your book. Lia has some serious backbone. Girl power to the max. She’s smart, tough and caring.
I dove right into the second book and look forward to the rest of the series!

“You don’t just tell a girl like her that she can’t do something”

Let’s talk about the size of this series… Most books I read are 1/2 of the first two and a 1/3 of the last book. I will say I was nervous but by the end of the first book I said to the second “Bring it!!!” These 1,657 pages are full of action, love, loyalty, deception, adventure, loss, gains… every page sucks you in. Listen. Stories told and stories to be written.

If you want a book to relax with… this isn’t it. I was on the edge of my seat and cheering Lia on the whole time. While I didn’t relax, I was able to escape from all the craziness of life and be fully emerged into this world. It was a welcome distraction from my current stress.
