This!!! It is an incredibly comprehensive tool that is jam-packed with goodness on everything one needs to know about preserving the seasons via canning, jamming, freezing, dehydrating, freeze-drying, pickling, infusing, and combining. It is my dream book come to life.
Readers of all levels will be delighted. From the beginner to the advanced - anyone will undoubtedly be stirred up and energized to preserve the seasons.
I think this book would provide a great family bonding experience. It's ripe with opportunities to teach, learn, and grow together.

About the Book: "He’s the beloved veterinarian of a traditional medicine practice. She owns the holistic pet wellness center next door. They hate everything about each other.
In My Own Words: Two vets with opposing philosophies on pet intervention strike sparks off each other. Their fighting boils down to passion and intent. Of course, timing is everything.
My Final Say: Kai and Parisa were explosive together. The tension between them practically poured off the pages. The journey to their true feelings was truly a slow burn (almost too slow). It took them long enough to reach their end. The whole enemies to lovers trope was clear. Their immaturity got in the way at times.

I super loved this story! The characters were great. The issues presented were real. The challenges were understandable. The emotional arc was on point. The family/extended family dynamics made sense. I adored Bruce and Farrah. It was wonderful.
Other: This gem is a read on repeat romance. Potential readers should be aware that this novel "contains mild language and depictions of PCOS, infertility, and divorce.

Plug and Drain by Darcy Fayton

2.0
Quick Summary: A dark ero-ro
My Review: Plug and Drain by Darcy Fayton is book #1 in the Plug and Drain Duology. It was released in 2024. It is labeled as an "addictive Teacher-Student Steamy Dark Paranormal Romance."
About the Book: "Vampires crave more than blood when they visit students’ beds. Refusing a vampire student is dangerous. But refusing the headmaster? Impossible."
The following tropes are listed for this book:
• Teacher / Student
• Age Gap
• Dom / Sub
• Morally gray lead
• Spice
In My Own Words: A supernatural hierarchy at a paranormal academy where ANYTHING goes.
My Final Say: This novel is not for the faint at heart. IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE, PERIOD. It is extremely dark and disturbing. It gets a red light warning plus. It is erotic fiction, and is pretty hardcore. While the story itself does not come off as heavy, the k---play and BDSM does.
Other: Potential readers will need to THOROUGHLY review the author's notes, as there are a number of triggers. I would go so far as to say WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!

Quick Summary: Unlucky in love underdogs find comfort in each other.
My Final Say: This was such an interesting story. There were a number of threads to pull on. At the center of it all, there were two bruised hearts, each of whom longed for a love of their own. Both individuals had to learn how to trust themselves as well as the other person in the fake to real love relationship.
The detailed playlist and discussion questions that were provided were appreciated.

Other: I am so appreciative to all veterans. You are the heroes. Thank you for your sacrifice and for your service. I will always be grateful to the women and to the men who gave and are still giving. It was truly my honor to be able to serve you during my career at the VAMC. Salute.
*** A very special and heartfelt thank you is extended to the service members from the Vietnam War. I know you, and I still pray for you. You taught me so much, and I am still learning decades later. I have not forgotten any of you and I promise that I will never forget. Mr. B., Mr. H., and all of the countless seen and unseen who check in and check out, I see you. Stay strong and keep fighting.
