Honestly, this utopian brothel society did not land. The author took a really complex issue and demonstrated a lack of understanding. Barely any commenting on the exploitation that drives the issue of buying people’s bodies. Wasn’t into it and the end really had no pay off. Research topics before writing about them!

This is kinda boring. The creature stuff was fun but leaves a lot more questions than answers. I’m not someone who need every single thing explained but there were certain things that I feel should’ve been tied up

And we head closer to the beam. The path shows all. So much development and building in this one. The emergence of one of my all time favorite King characters?? So excited for 4, hope I can get there soon.

Dr. Strangelove but not funny! Had to check this book out after discovering my love of the film. This had pretty much the entire story. Pretty awesome how scary nukes are!

This was my first Barker novel and it won’t be my last. Such a huge fan of Hellraiser and the original story is so beautifully told

The writing in this is chef’s kiss. I love these sort of metamorphosis stories. I didn’t find a lot of the characters super likeable which hurt a bit but overall really enjoyed this read and flew through it in a few days
