solid book. medium pacing. high fantasy maybe a little supernatural elements.  This book is a mixture of character and plot. I didn't live it and didn't hate it. It was okay

thought this book was slow. Paced, and that's just not my preferences right now. Maybe not slow pace. But there was a good 70% of the book that was context and setting up and like giving you the information that you needed. And I just felt like it was too much and move anywhere quick enough. Things didn't happen until the FMC got kidnapped, but that was like 7580%. And so the book I also felt that there was a lot of inner dialogue and not  enough things happening

I really enjoyed the ending to dish. Trilogy, the trilogy followed. Koffi, Ekon, as they went from one reality.I'm this adventure into another reality. This is a medium paste adventure. That has romance and drama. It was high, fantasy or mythology, and some of the words I couldn't pronounce in in the beginning that helped me up.But then I just made it up and kept reading so at the intern out to be a issue. The character arc and character development was a major plot point. And I believe it was done well and made the characters lovable. Their journey was adventurous, pushed a plot along, but also entertaining

The FMC was annoying to me. Her and her friends. I don't think she went through much character development. The MMC was set up to. I felt it was a little rushed. Forced proximity love story. 2 5 or 3 spice bars depending on how out of the box you are.

Loved this book. It had solid pacing. Wasn't rushed through. The before had a good build up and felt realistic and then it transitioned well throughout the relationship. The mental health aspects felt like a good undercurrent which helped ground the series and made it enjoyable for me. There was a time where I wasn't sure whether it would be a happy ending. There were some notes. the main character Stevie was bi-racial but that seemed not to be a pressure point in her life. She had no black people around her personally. Her issues were her weight and not standing up for her self. Always talk about her hair but it never went into why her mother and "friends" or others could have found it an issue. T thought that part could of been more fleshed out.

Classic dark academia, medium paced. The characters are the plot and how they go through what's happening. It's slight development but it's the first in a series. I enjoyed immersion reading.

DARK DARK romance. I thought it was a solid book. I liked it was a duoligy and conpleted story.
im glad they brought arlo back and didnt make book 2 just about wren and her grief and revenge or turning into a mov boss.

I wasn't expecting the twist and thought it unraveled rather quickly. Very dark. Read triggers.

solid book. Heavy on trigger warning and spice. i liked that when I thought it was over (because they had gotten together) there was story left. minor plot holes i thought but I enjoyed. it is definitely dark mafia romance.

Don't think this is YA. It's set in college to me that's automatically adult or the "new adult" everyone is trying to make happen. Nothing really happened and there was no character arc. I hated the book within the book - that part could of been left out. The main character didn't really arc.

I really enjoyed the book. It was fast pace in in the world of solaria. You could tell it was by the 2 authors. They have the specific style when writing. It was a mixture of plot and character. The character Elise set out to do something and then as that plot unfolded, the different characters in her life got mixed up in it.So it was really a mixture of both. I personally don't think that you need to have red zodiac Academy. In order to know these books or a vice versa, I think that they can be read as to independent standalone series. However, it's good for me to get the context of the extra world building..
