This has probably been my favorite book of the year. I mean Ross just paints an incredible and vivid picture. My heart was torn apart, put back together, then torn apart again. I lived for Divine Rivals and devoured Ruthless Vows. I love the fantasy mixed with war mixed with heartbreak and romance. I love our protagonists, Roman & Iris. The author just builds their story and world so completely. I enjoyed every minute of this novel.

I personally loved this novel, in fact I think this is my favorite Christmas novel I have read this year. The friends to lovers trope in this is unmatched and I adored our protagonists. I always appreciate when great chemistry and characters is not necessarily drag-out, knock-down, but more of a slow slimmer that builds up and you can't believe you didn't notice it before. Here's to Molly and Andrew!

Overall, really enjoyable novel and great world-building to start a new series. I will say that there were multiple points where the main character just annoyed me. That being said, I do think it is just a part of the character's personality and it does get better as the series continues. It was nothing spectacular or ground-breaking but I really enjoyed this novel and read the next 2 within 3 days.

I personally loved this novel. I really enjoyed getting to dive deep into what family means at Christmas time and how do we handle when our traditions change and people move on. I think it was great to acknowledge that Christmas is for the family you have found or made for yourself just as much as it is for your blood relative. I thought the characters developed pretty well throughout with alternating pov’s from our two main-main characters: Finn & Hannah.

If you just want some good vibes and an enjoyable plot line then I definitely recommend this book. It is not your typical Hallmark, everything is perfect novel but I think that’s what makes it great. I also love that this is just a fun read and I loved all the little quirks of our characters.

I really enjoyed the ending for The Ice League Series. I thought it wrapped up a lot of characters' storylines well. It was well-planned. I absolutely love our protagonists with Josie and Tyler. They have such fun chemistry and are very honest (at least most of the time) with each other.

I am so so happy with the ending but so sad that this series has come to an end. If you have enjoyed the other novels in this series, I have a feeling you will really enjoy this one.

I chose the 4 stars just because I felt that it was a little bit rushed with relationship especially with the twist about halfway through which I didn't feel was addressed enough. I thought the back-half of the story could have been a little more developed, but I enjoyed it overall.

I was really excited with the plot of this book, but then it fell very flat. I thought conceptually all of the elements were there: great characters, interesting storyline, and conflicts. However, I felt that this novel wasn't fully developed. I think it started out well, but by the end I was disappointed. I don't think we ever got full character development. The romance, in my opinion, could have almost been left out because it didn't seem good to me. I wasn't fully happy with how conflict was resolved either. Overall, this book was meh for me.

Did this book emotionally hurt me? Yes, multiple times. I did however really enjoy it and I feel like if you really like the first novel in this series then you will enjoy this one as well. I saw some good character growth and I think the story is developing along well and I already need another one.
