Honestly there is nothing I can say about this book/series that probably hasn’t already been said before. Amazing, brilliant, heart wrenching and more. I did not want this book to end as it means no more reading about Mia and everyone else that I have grown to either love or hate, depending on who they are. I will be sad to leave this world but I will be back to read them many times over in the future.

I’m in love with this series, the story, the characters are all so interesting and so well developed that once you start reading these books you don’t want to stop until finished.

An average thriller read for me, I enjoyed it but nothing terrific. This is the second book I have read by this author and I just think maybe the style is not my favourite. Nothing wrong at all with the books, it’s what I need in a book that’s missing for me.

This was a lovely, quick and easy fantasy read. I loved the characters and the storylines that each had. The quests were all different and I enjoyed the pace and overall a great book.

What a wonderful middle grade book that has beautiful stories/myths from Asian culture told intermingled with a plot that sees a young girl heading out on a quest to bring fortune to her family and village.

Absolutely loved everything about this book, I love Alyce and her story and cannot wait to see what happens in book 2. It’s so fascinating to see what makes a “villain”, and the friendship then romance between Aurora and Alyce was lovely and heartbreaking to read.
I will be eagerly awaiting the sequel to this wonderful story.

A great continuation from the first book, I loved the story line with Kaoru and am looking forward to seeing what happens in the last book in the series.
