You’ll like this book if you like - enemies to lovers -fantasy politics -hunger game vibes
In this book you follow Oraya who is a human living in a vampire country. Her whole life she was trained to win the Kejari: a tournament held by the goddess of death to grant the winner a wish. As friendships turn into love and hidden truths become answers Oraya faces many challenges outside of winning a tournament that vampires are her competition.
I enjoyed this book and was a quick read for me. The ending definitely disappointed me which is why I rated it 4 stars. I would have much rather cut off the last few chapters because now I’m not really excited to get into the 2nd book. The book ended as if it’s a stand alone book. Through the rest of the read though I loved the hunger games almost aspect of it and really enjoyed the enemies to lovers (however I don’t think a full 20 min chapter needs to be dedicated to one sexy scene but some may). I would recommend this book.

If you like romantasy, mythology, magic and banter you’ll probably like this book.
I LOVED this book! One of my favorite things in a books is when they have banter between the characters and this book definitely delivered I got really nervous near the end that my heart was going to shatter into pieces and it did but not in the way I thought. I couldn’t put this down every part of this book will live with me forever.
A fate inked in blood is a Norse mythology following a female main character who is destined for greatness but is forced to hide her magic. There is so much more to this story but to avoid spoilers that’s all we’re going to discuss.

4 stars for the one that got away with murder. You will like this book if you like -ya thrillers / teen thrillers -easy to follow reads -fast paced or you’re trying to get into thrillers / love books like a good girls guide to murder.
What I loved most is that I didn’t really expect the who done it to be the person it was

I honestly should have just DNFd this book but since it was short I finished it. This was a horribly boring book.

This audiobook was ELITE! The narration did an amazing job. I really enjoyed this story as well and I WAS NOT expecting that ending. Definitely add to your TBR if you like mystery / thrillers.

I’m not going to be the one to determine adult from YA, but I definitely feel like this is a YA thriller.
The audio narration was done well. The teacher had some “plot twists” here and there at the end but nothing GASP worthy. I’d still recommend to read the book though.

I really enjoyed how this book started out. The concept of this story was very intriguing to me, halfway through the book it completely changed routes though and was like a whole new story, which was still great in detail and execution but just felt botchy. I would recommend anyone who is into SCIFI to read this book however I know it won’t be for everyone.
