~3.25! Wanted to leave because of the characters but stayed for the drama.. still want to continue with the series! Also I’m a sucker for outfit descriptions in books

WOW this was funny and hot with a great subtle mystery. Set in the Tennessee with a large family of bearded mountain men of various professions and walks of life. Also there’s a MC club. Can’t wait to read the rest of this series!!

I loved this story! First ~60% was five stars but the unraveling of the story and the actions of our present day character Caroline were a little unsatisfying for me. Otherwise a great apothecary based historical fiction/mystery!

I understand that Greek mythology has a lot of petty plots and selfish characters.. but even accepting that I couldn’t get into the story. Beautiful book though and great writing!

Childhood companions reunited as adults in a VERY dramatic manner. Our heroine poses as a widow to move freely in society and she has a job at Scotland Yard. We have QUITE the damaged hero who happens to be an incredibly wealthy vigilante criminal. Also great food and outfit descriptions (a very particular fave of mine in books haha)
