being able to join raja on these different walks through the years was both beautiful and devastating. to see and hear how these beautiful lands have been stolen and destroyed for decades makes my heart break more each day.

palestine will be free and palestinians will have their land back.

kicking my feet and squealing over how cute this is so far! a sign of affection has been on my radar for awhile and i’m glad to finally be getting into it. yuki is everything to me and i just love her so much. i can’t wait to continue reading and seeing how yuki & itsuomi grow, both as individuals and together.

i love to see the care and effort that suu morishita has put into incorporating sign language and such. it’s wonderful to see deaf/hoh representation done so well and with such genuine care.

also the art style is so gorgeous! i can’t wait to get all caught up & then start the anime (which is extra exciting, congrats!!).

a really interesting sci-fi world with time travel that evolved into a beautifully written sapphic love story with such gorgeous prose that read more like poetry. especially the letters between red & blue.

the PET NAMES !!! the absolute YEARNING !!!
i am such a hopeless mess for yearning & star crossed lovers in any form of media.

definitely a bit out of my comfort zone with all of the sci-finess, but i’m very glad i picked this up and gave it a chance.

Loveless by Alice Oseman

i am absolutely in love with loveless and georgia’s entire journey to finding herself, identifying herself, and accepting and understanding herself. as someone who struggled figuring out my identity for a long time before landing on panromantic demisexual, i felt so seen while reading georgia’s story.

i always feel so seen in alice’s works and i cannot thank them enough for the important stories she tells. i wish i had things like heartstopper and loveless when i was a teen, but i’m so glad to have them now and that teens now have such wonderful stories to see and find themselves in.

also georgia and rooney’s relationship was my favorite thing about this book.

(spoiler warning starting here)

i was sobbing actual tears to the point i couldn’t read through my tears and had to calm down to proceed during the whole part of georgia thinking rooney left and abandoned her only for rooney to go into this whole speech of how she wants to be georgia’s special person, like a platonic soulmate / queer platonic partner. literally so so so well written (the whole book was, of course), but that part took the cake for me. i felt every emotion.
