Raisy is everything and i knew i would love their story, i’m so happy they get another book to themselves. finishing a book is always so bittersweet for me, so i’m happy i still have some books to go. i’m not ready to leave the core six “behind” they feel like family honestly

absolutely amazing. i really enjoyed every minute of watching them connect and help each other in ways that they didn’t even know they needed. such a beautiful, sad story. i will forever treasure it.

I truly don’t have the words right now to express how much I love but hate this book. It’s so amazing and it was so bittersweet. I fell in love with them and their world, I admire poppy’s strength to no end. This book was just so beautiful and so well put together and just heartbreaking. I lagged on finishing because I didn’t wanna be sad. Congrats on being the first author to make me full on sob once, let alone more than 3 times. The epilogue honestly was so needed and although I feel a little empty right now, the epilogue made me smile but also left a never ending question of how and why. I’ll leave it be though.

wow. okay. i definitely teared up and let a few tears slip quite a bit. this one got me. you know when a book is so good, your eyes/ears aren’t moving fast enough? no? okay, great. well, i kept reading faster than the audio because i had to know what happened next.

i have so much to say about how amazingly wholesome and heartbreaking this book is. i’m glad i didn’t read the synopsis. i was not expecting so much emotion to overtake me. it’s almost 11 pm, i have a splitting headache (not from crying, although that definitely didn’t help) and i have to be up at 7 am—i don’t care at all. this book unlocked something in me. i share so much with mara ESPECIALLY when it comes to her father. it was so healing for me to witness their relationship and the words he’d say to her. i pretended they were my dads. i don’t remember much, but i would like to think of my father exactly like maras.

her and cat’s friendship, her and tally’s friendship? they were everything. i’ve always longed for friends like them. i lived a bit vicariously i’ll say. anyway, the slow burn, but just enough angst and tension between her and ambrose—immaculate. i only stopped reading when i had to go to that thing called a job + to force myself to sleep. i’m glad alima and mara reconciled, i’m glad she had laura, matty, and even mitsu. oh and the reasoning for it being called the two of us? stop it rn
