Fun audiobook, on the younger side of the YA realm still v entertaining
Longer than necessary? But then again had it not been so long I may not have been so invested in the end. It’s a lot of back story where you don’t find out until the end what the mmc big issue really is. Pretty funny, the family dynamic was fun.
I have been following jay’s career since I was 12. I need this as a coffee table book ASAP

It is funny how books find you at certain times of your life, giving you what you didn’t know you needed. Now this isn’t like an “OMG you have GOT to read this book” but if you picked it up I wouldn’t tell you to put it back down. Confusing and slow to start, great twist to keep you interested a little messy timeline at times.
Overall the message I got is to forgive yourself and just be honest, a lot of things E could’ve avoided had she just faced the truth. I can’t imagine hiding like that for so long. Regardless decent read and good timing for me. As always bookclub keeps me going when I struggle reading!

I really enjoyed this writing format. Fun and quirky writing, kept me entertained.

I loved this book for personal reasons. A lot of research and cited works to support the author delving into the bittersweet. This is not a pick up and read in one sitting, this is one you read and use for years. Can't wait to try another Susan Cain I got this one with BOTM and it did not disappoint.
