It's been a long time since I've read a novella (and even longer since I've read one I actually enjoyed), but Six Scorched Roses was as close to perfect as you can get. Having read the two other books in this series, I didn't expect to be so charmed by Lilith and Vale because I'd previously seen so little of them, but they've somehow managed to become my favorites when compared to Oraya and Raihn—that's shocking.

Beyond the sweetness of the romance,  this story gave such a beautiful glimpse into the human condition and its relationship with death and I love it all the more for the introspective journey it took me on. Easy 4.75 stars!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.
I was expecting something ridiculous and Wattpad-esque (that's more or less what I was craving), but this book was just so...unbearable.

Here I am again giving another Crows of Nyaxia book 5 stars. Why? Because the Vincent-Oraya storyline gets me crying EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. What's more, is that I got the exact ending between those two that I wanted so I couldn't be happier! This was such a fun and emotional ride, wow.

This was... A ride and a half, lmao. I actually had no idea what this book was about going into it (besides it being a hockey romance), and I gotta say, I'm pretty pleasantly surprised. Things started great. I kind of hated the fourth addition, but it was still bearable. Tbh, Jake x Caleb forever ☺️! 3.5 stars.

Unanticipated BANGER????

I'd heard about this book forever ago, and it didn't seem like something I'd be into at the time, but I've since come to my senses and read one of the best romances in a while. There was a lot of smiling and a lot of suffering in this book and I couldn't be happier where everything ended. If I have any complaint, it might be the trauma smutting, but ill forgive it because everything else was so solid. 4.25-star goodness!

This was a stinkin' cute read! Finn x Naomi are among my new faves. 4 stars for a super fun time. ☺️

I expected greatness and ended up with something that was pretty...meh? The first 50% of this book was actually worse than 'meh' if im being honest. Very repetitive description. 1-dimensional MC. Weird dialogue. Etc. But, I have a book quota to reach so I couldn't DNF. Things got a least marginally better after the 50% mark so I've bumped this up from a 1.5 to a 3-star rating. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yep, this is the one.

Turns out skipping book one was the answer after all. Easy 4/5 stars for Iris the cutie and Declan the neanderthal! ☺️

K + I = the best couple in this book universe?!?!? I love Kai SO bad and I laughed a lot. Technically, I think this book is a 4-star read, but I shed a tear of joy reading the PERFECTLY sweet moment at the end of the epilogue so I have to give it 5 stars. So cute. So fun. I'm satisfied!
