50% of the time its cringey (like 2012 tumblr ed/ lana del ray) and the other 50% is meh. Still, i think this is REALLY good for a YA book, most of the time i really find myself disliking mental heath themed books with young protagonists mostly beacsue they are just too cringy (looking at you Suicide notes, i HATED that book). Still it was nice feeling seen by a book, however this made me rethink my bad eating habits just beacsue I was embarrassed and thought "GOSH, i really hope i don't act like THAT". The ending felt rushed, and too sweet

Boring, VERY boring. But I like boring books it’s fun just seeing someone do day to day things, although I did almost DNF it a couple of times. Really disliked the obsessive mentioning of Maiyre (or however it’s spelt) breasts, but again it’s probably just because this is a murakami book once you read enough of them you are desensitized to the odd sexual stuff. Also the character development is minuscule?

A book about a bunch of bitter woman. Really just a retelling of the illiad from the perspective of woman nothing earth shattering. However I found the pacing insufferable, one moment it went really fast and next second really slow. The writing style feels almost detached from it's charactets, as they are difficult to relate to, everyone is just whiny and gets on your nerves.

Man what a great finish to a series, I don’t think I’ve seen a group of characters change so much in a series. Spoilers ahead bcs I’m on mobile and don’t feel like typing out the little thing!
- Savine man I was always jumping between loving and hating her. I think the symbolism of her mental state and fencing was great (also her parallels with ardee, this trilogy loves parallels)
- Fuck you Leo, but your parallels with Glotka are SPOT on, we get a glimps of perhaps how glotka was in his youth.
- No words for Orso he’s my homie, got done awfully but still stayed a great dude.
- Rikke is meh, just meh. She always felt like a manic pixie dream girl to me idk, wish we had more of Cainwel I think rikke was the least interesting to me.
- Vicks chapters were my favorites, her devopment, and how she really parralells with Fero :( loved when she just sprinted out of glotkas office.
- Broad man man man. Poor dude I think he matched up with logen (or possibly west?) Being a good man driven to do bad things over and over (reminded me of Sandor Clegane, but broad is a tad bit softer)
Overall a great trillogy, masterfully done and got me out of a reading slump. I actually liked this trillogy more than the og trillogy.

Honesty, this book is litterly everything that i avoid (YA, first person, contemporary etc..) One of my friends help me at metaphorical gunpoint to read this. It relied WAY too heavy on plot twists and shock value to make it good. And it was entertaining, but not really well written (i might just be biased as i normally just don't like first person) The humor is really cringey edgy tumblr style, i really hated the sense of humor, like ooo look at me im edgy oooo, honestly the more i think about this book the more i dislike it.
