Right now- here sitting on my seat in class- I finished it. I WANT TO CRY A BIT.
I'm happy I got to read this triology! I just wish that there was more books!! Multiple times I stayed up at night fixed on the book and other times I didn't touch the book for a while. I guess it's that you need to get into the book, be patient, and understand the information given in order to really like it(?) ! 4.3 stars was my first choice, but more and more towards the end I felt like I needed to make it 4.6 stars :)

This book turned out to be one of my "I-didn't-like-it-a-lot/it's-not-really-my-thing" and "didn't-like-it-at-first-then-at-the-end-it's-so--!!!!" type of books. Specifically, I wasn't into the poetry as much as others might of been. For me in parts of the book, in my head I was saying "yeah yeah yeah 'love, lust, poetry, morphing, temperature'." over and over again. I kind of thought, personally, that it was slow paced, but it worked somehow to make me all jumpy towards the end's climax!
At the last few chapters where there is action, I felt really engrossed on the last few days of reading Shiver. (Not that the whooooole other parts of the book were "boring, meh", it just that Stiefvater's writing style was more new and different to me). I can not believe that I was going to not finish reading it and go to another book! I'm glad I didn't!
On the last pages, I read so fast and yet read so carefully. I finished at one in the morning and ahhhhhh this cliffhanger is killing me!!
I gave this book 3.5 out of 5 stars. I feel like the next book will be better with me now understanding this book better by rereading a few chapters!

Oh. I'm still sort of confused and shocked, though. I need more, this can't be over. I need more explanations! I have been in love with the series since about age 10 or younger and I felt so attached to them, and now I at last had the guts to read the last book. Sadly, I give it 3-5 stars. Issues here and there, you know. Instead of solving the mysteries, new ones were created such as "What really did happen to the other characters? What about the Quagmires (one of my favorite, favorite characters) ???? What is in the sugar bowl???? Is the *** still alive ????" Also in some parts I kind of started missing Count Olaf and the action like in other books. On the other hand, I was surprised at the end and some parts in the rest of the book! I neeeeed moooore eeeexplanations!!!!
