Savage Lover by Sophie Lark

I don’t know why I find the series getting more boring the more I read it. I thought the first one was so good and then I really didn’t like the second one but now somehow I feel like it’s my favorite one but savage lover I did not enjoy whatsoever I just wanted it to be over. I didn’t understand the story development or lack there of. I feel like we just went from them kind of running into each other to them fully being in love and it confused me to be honest.

Fan-freaking-tastic. I loves this book. I gave me very much tame Den of Vipers it like the best way possible. This book just solidified the fact that reverse harems are my new thing.
I loved the relationship between June and her men. I really liked how she met them all on separate occasions. I really liked the Second Chance romance aspects of everything as well. I thought her friend Cora was super fun and cute as well. I think the characters were very well-rounded and I definitely enjoyed this read.

What do I think about this book…
When I started the “Mafia Wars” series I actually started with Ruining Dahlia first because obviously they’re all standalone‘s. I decided I wanted to read all the other books in order because I truly did love Ruining Dahlia so much. If I had started this series from the beginning with this book I don’t know if I would’ve continued it. I do love a good reverse harem but I did not like the storyline of this book. It felt like a lot of this book was very forced relationship for me and not in a good way. I also did not like the over excessive use of the word “ARGH”. Literally this word appear just like this in so many spots and I was not a fan.
Will I continue to read the rest of the books yes. Was it because I thought the first one was great…absolutely not. Did I also cry the end of the book though… Yes.

Gunmetal Lily by Rebecca Royce

Wow! I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. And for me it started off a little rocky but I really enjoyed the story of Lily and the Hernandez brothers. I do think that the action of the story took place too late in the book. I also wish that The author would have gone in depth about some of the things that happened to some of the characters early on in our childhood aforementioned. I think that it would’ve been a very good way to kind of round out the characters a little bit more. Comparatively to the first one I read this one was a winner. I did cry at the end but that’s just because I’m a sap.

I was so looking forward to this book and in my opinion is just flopped. I REALLY wanted to love it but I found myself so bored. I found the story could not hold my attention. I definitely skimmed the majority of this book and only because I was determined to finish it.
