The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera

I love the concept. But at some point it was too much philosophical for me.
The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill

Wow! What a beautiful well-written book!
Although in between the book went slow, I had a fun read. My heart is full-full of magic, love and whatnot.

A Woman's Story by Annie Ernaux
5.0
This is my second Ernaux and it's easily a favourite. I have always felt that mother daughter relationship is indifferent to the rest. This book proves it.
Simple Passion by Annie Ernaux
5.0
This is my first Ernaux. I didn’t know what to expect considering her being a Nobel Laureate.
I am v happy that I read her. Her prose is so simple yet exquisite and eloquent. There's emotions in every single line.
It felt like reading my own life. I believe that women around the world love in the same way. They give themselves to their men and their men become their world. Simple Passion is a manifesto of that theory. A woman loving>>>>>

The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion
3.5
There were so many good lines to annotate!
Though the first half of the book was hard to get into(-1.5⭐️), the latter half made my heart grieve and shatter into pieces. I have never read something so detailed around grieving. All these years I thought it was a single step process. You grieve, you move on. But Didion told me otherwise. This book made me retrospect what I know about grief and how I see it.
I think someday I'll reread this one.

On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong

Loved it. The prose was so beautiful I had to underline quarter of the book. Tho I prefer his poetry more. Maybe it's because I have less interest in memoirs. But this one was magnificent. Love OEWBG, love Ocean Vuong. <3
