I absolutely loved this Christmas novella. Everything about Trick Shot was sexy, fun, and entertaining. I definitely loved the festive-ness of the entire book. I don't usually read Christmas book (don't come for me!l) but I'm really glad a friend of mine got our book group to give this novella a go.

I loved that it was a MMF Christmas novella. I loved these three characters. They were all so different from one another but fit perfectly together. I couldn't get over the banter and nicknames between these 3. Not to mention the smut was friggin HOT!!!

This was my first Kayla Grosse novella/book but it won't be my last. I can't wait to check out more of her work.

Circus.... Monsters... Sex Demons, OH MY!!!

I absolutely love this Circus Creeps by Aiden Pierce. The characters are unique and exciting. The storyline was enthralling, fast paced, filled with hilarious banter and hot, spicy, smut scenes.

Aiden Pierce takes you for a wild ride straight to a Circus from Hell and all you can do is hold on tight because it just goes from slightly crazy to pure insanity. I'm here for it though. I absolutely love all the characters in this book. Alistair, Riff, Raff, Daemon, and of course Meg. All the monsters in this book are GRADE A HOT and Meg is a sexy badass fmc who fights for what she wants and doesn't let anyone human or monster push her around.

Circus creeps is the type of paranormal monster romance that had me barely hanging on the entire time while simultaneously pushing me over the edge from smut scenes alone. Aiden Pierce is a monster smut genius! I love monsters and everything about them! πŸ˜‰ There's just something about a monster being able to break or kill a human so easily but won't that I just love.

I highly recommend Circus Creeps. I legit can't wait for another 15 days for when Carnival Creeps (Book 2) comes out!! I know it's going to be amazing.

Double Dare You was interesting because it wasn't about The Horsemen and Rosie or The Kings and Bianca or Chapel Crest Boys and Sirena. It's about Jamie (Rosalie's best friend), Colton (Cole's brother) and Spencer (Jamie's ex boyfriend).

I think this book was interesting because it gave us insight to the future as well as gave us a different story to break up the regular characters stories. I really enjoy reading more about some of the side characters.

I love Jamie. I think she's a tad bit scared to come out of her shell and be who she wants to be but I do believe with the right person/s she would flourish.

This book has some sexy MMF scenes. I really enjoyed this three characters together. I think they each bring something to the relationship and compliment one another. This book ended on a cliffhanger. I hope that we get to find out what happens to these three in the future.

**just another good book from the Chaos Series.

Wow.

Wow is all I can think right after finishing On the Edge.  I love the Mayfair group, always have since the beginning in Black Falls High. The Horsemen and Rosalie are forever embedded themselves in my heart just as the rest of the characters in the Chaos Universe.

On the Edge was so good. I felt so many emotions while reading. There's quite a conflicting emotions for the horsemen and Rosalie as they're trying to navigate their new world. Everyone is constantly trying to control every aspect out of fear of their lives imploding that they struggle with knowing how to fix their precarious situation. I think the one thing I've always loved about the horsemen and Rosie was that they all really do love each other so much!

I was shocked that the book ended like it did. I felt like there was a lot of loose ends as well. There was quite a bit of clues and bread crumbs that were left throughout this book that helped explain things in past books as well as foretelling what's to come in the future. I will say that during this book, there was quite a foreboding vibe I picked up on multiple times. I know something bad is coming and I know I'm not ready for it. I do think I know what it is, but I won't be spoiling it for anyone else.

This is yet another amazing, complicated, intense & addicting KG book. The Chaos Series has become and always be one of my favorite series ever. I highly recommend this series for any why choose, dark romance filled with love, hate, loyalty, betrayal, spice, smut and lots and lots of hot, hot sex with lots of hot guys and hot women!!

Fable has been on my TBR since it was first released. I'm not sure why I decided to read it all of a sudden but I've always loved the cover and so I just picked it 2 nights ago and devoured it. Fable is the first book by Adrienne Young that I've read and now I'm completely hooked. I just finished Fable and it's 2:30am and I've already started Namesake.

I love books with a strong fmc or at least a fmc that has strong character growth and doesn't let anyone tell her what to do. She makes up her mind, does what she wants and fights like hell for herself. Fable is one of those fmc's that has certain characteristics that we want all our young girls and young woman to have. Girls, young women and women are meant to be whoever they want to be. No man should ever decide that we aren't meant for this world!!!

I love the characters in this book. I love the use of the found family trope. I love that Fable has accomplished more than what was expected of her. She's a warrior and I can't wait to see what happens in Namesake. I do think Fable ends on a quite a juicy cliffhanger, I instantly had to pull Namesake up and start it that cliffhanger.

Keep an eye out for my review on Namesake. I'm thinking Adrienne Young is going to be one of my new favorite authors.

I think this was definitely quite an erotic book. It was my first book by Sierra Simone. I'm not so sure I'm really into the whole priest type of kink but this was a well written book, it had quite the detailed and intense scene.

I listened to the audio for the first half has and finished the second half on my kindle, that said, the audio was great. I loved the guy narrators voice as well as the woman'  voice that popped in every now and then for Poppy.

If you like a lot of spicy, spicy scenes then this is your book for you. Sierra Simone is quite the dark romance and spice writer. I look forward to more of her books.

Title: Charm
Author: V.B. Emanuele
Series: Tryst 2

I know I've said it in other reviews I've written for V.B. but I literally LOVE everything she writes. Every one of her dark romances are filled with spicy scenes and fun banter, end up being binge worthy and amazing. I literally finished Charm in a day and a half... it was sooooo good.

Tryst 1 is all about Elizabeth and Vincenzo and their secret relationship. Vincenzo is Elizabeth's dad's, James, best friend and they start seeing each other secretly. They end up telling him at a family vacation. James is of course upset at first but ends up realizing how happy they make each other and ends up giving his blessing. Well in Charm (Tryst 2), James ends up secretly confiding to Maddie about his failing marriage, who is Elizabeth's best friend. Once Elizabeth finds out, she of course freaks out but in the end she realizes that she should support them like Maddie and her dad supported their relationship.

I loved Charm! I love V.B's writing. Every book I've ever read of hers just pulls me in and I'm instantly obsessed. The Italian men in her books are always swoon worthy while still dark and sexy. I thought Charm and Tryst were both hot and fun age gap, dark romances. I really loved the scenes in this book between Maddie and James. I love dom/sub scenes and Emanuele is a great BDSM writer as well. This book was easy to read, binge worthy and highly addictive. I also really love that all of her characters are always so well thought out, interesting and also charming. Of course, I 150% recommend Charm, if there's one thing that's a guarantee, it's that all V.B's books are amazing.

DEAD INSIDE...

This book was a lot to unload. By the time I finished reading it, I wasn't sure if I loved it or hated it but I'm glad I was able to finish it.

Yes there are quite a few moments (scenes) within this book that were kind of horrifying and hard to push through. I did have to stop a few times and break before being able to continue. While going into this book blindly worked for me, I don't recommend this option for others who have triggers. This book while completely dark and horrific, it's also quite thought provoking...

What's normal? Why is normal the "term" everyone wants their life to defined by? Who says what normal is? Are any of us really normal?

I think the author pushed the boundaries of what's normal and acceptable with this book but in doing so, he created something that will cause you to think about ourselves and others and wonder how many "normal" people there are in the world?

I really enjoyed reading As the Fallen Rise by Sadie Hewitt. I was instantly enthralled with the story and the characters. A young woman, Greer Myers, is an anthropologist who studies  folklore and Mythology among other things. She's soon thrusted into the world of mythical creatures and magic once she finds out she's the next mage, from her ancestral line. Once her magic is felt, daemons start to hunt her. Now with the help of a strange man and a grimoire he gives her, she starts trying to learn about her past as well as figure out how to use magic. Will she be able to figure it all out before someone plans her downfall.

This book was great from beginning to end. I love paranormal fantasy books and this book has it all from lore, magic and all kinds of daemons. I also loved the backstory of how the daemons came to be. I also loved the main character, Greer. She is smart and independent but isn't prepared for what her future holds now that she knows the truth and her life seems to be imploding. I think this book will captivate readers who love the paranormal. I couldn't put this book down till the end. I highly recommend this action packed, adventurous, coming of age fantasy.

Author: Bex Dawn & Hayley Tyler

Rating: β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†

Sin with Me was just.... WOW!!! I'm still stunned after reading the last idk 30% of the book!!! It definitely had some twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. Sin with Me is one heck of a wild ride, from beginning to end. From twists and turns, such deep betrayals that there's no redemption, secrets upon secrets, rawness, pain and grief but also filled with beauty, hope, love and deliverance. Get ready because this book was amazing!!

Two families destroyed by death, yet the broken sides come together to make a new and whole family only to become distorted and broken by true evil and the innocent are the ones to pay for someone's else's sins!!!

Eve (Goldie), the light in Roman's darkness. They grow up together as step siblings only to become so much more when they felt like they only had each other only to be separated when Roman leaves suddenly at 18. He stays gone for 4 years after Eve's mother dies suddenly. So Eve and Roman's father, Issac stay in they family home in Divinity Falls, living their life until Roman comes back one day out of the blue and things will never be the same again.

This book discusses some *SERIOUS* topics like rape, child abuse, murder, domestic violence, addiction and so much more. If any of these subjects are triggering for you, then I recommend you DO NOT read this book, but if you don't have any triggers than give this book a go. Sin with Me is dark, raw, passionate, dark, scary at moments, but also so beautiful. I love this book. I commend Hayley and Bex for writing such a great book, with amazing characters and a great story line and plot. I also couldn't get enough of some of the side characters: Chase, dear sweet Oli, and Daddy Kon. These characters made this book a million times more amazing and hilarious. I laughed so hard I cried throughout reading the interactions between the characters. Everyone needs a best friend like Oli. I can't recommend this book enough. It's one of my favorite books of 2023.
