I’ve been on my true crime shit again so when the book besties on YouTube mentioned this book I knew I had to read it. I was hooked from the start. This is the kind of book you should go in as blind as possible but if you do have triggers check those first. It VERY gory and dark! One thing that I wasn’t expecting and I know a lot of people hate is animal cruelty, it is a short scene. One might wonder how does a woman fall in love with a convicted murderer. A man who killed many women and is about to die for his actions. You wonder that until you meet Robbie. Robbie is a charmer in a very dark way. Savannah had a horrible childhood and once she meets Robbie she realizes maybe she’s on the dark side too. Their interactions were my favorite. I also loved how many POVs this book had and that they were easy to follow. I think I would have loved the book more if there weren’t so many gory details about the crimes he committed.

Spin is one of the sweetest guys in an MC book that I’ve ever read. I loved that from the moment he found Naomi he knew they would be together. I do feel a little robbed when she was having the baby and we didn’t get to experience that with them. Or even the first year because of the one year time jump. I think Spin as a dad would have been so fun to read about and we never got to read it 😞 the ending is cute with him asking her to marry him and her telling him she’s pregnant, all on Christmas 🥹 the story was great and so were the characters it just fell short in other ways.

This book follows Beckett & Addie. Addie had a really bad childhood with a very abusive father that she still unfortunately deals with. Beckett ran away from his family when things got hard and he felt a certain incident was his fault. So both characters are broken and struggling with their pasts. Beckett decided to come back when something bad happened to his sister and he’s now the town doctor. He ends up needing a place to stay and Addie is staying in his brother’s other house so they ask if he can stay there, too. This book has way more suspense to it because of Addie’s dad and his men. We get to see Beckett turn into an overly protective caring man and will do anything and everything for Addie. Seeing the love blossom between Beckett and Addie and seeing how patient this man was during it all 🥹 I did find that the suspense took up a lot of the book which is understandable considering Addie’s past. I just found at times it was very repetitive and I ended up skimming parts. It was a good addition to the series just not my favorite.

When I started the book the storyline with the step mom grossed me out. I thought eventually it would move away from that but it continued on. She’s trash and gets brought up constantly and the dad is awful. I just stopped caring and didn’t want to pick the book up anymore.

The moment the MMC is introduced I knew exactly the way this book was going to go and I was completely here for it. Frankie doesn’t really understand her feelings especially when it comes to Soren (Ren). It’s so cute seeing her start to realize it and how patient Ren is 🥹 Ren is such a good guy. I loved hockey Ren but I really really loved domestic Ren. When it comes to Frankie he is gentle, caring and so helpful. The way she starts her period and he is there for her 🥹 I LOVE when men are understanding and even though they never experienced it they are still there for their woman. He also knew so much about her disabilities and remembered every little detail about everything she loved and hated. Ren is the poster man for “if he wanted to he would”. Frankie has no filter, it was actually quite refreshing. She’s grumpy but not super grumpy which I appreciated. I love the way her and Ziggy (Ren’s sister) bonded. When it comes to the spice it got pretty hot! The tantric yoga was 🥵. They have such great chemistry even though it took them a little bit to act on it. In Frankie’s case it was to realize what she was feeling. When it came to Ren he knew all along she was it for him 🥹 I thought the pacing of this book was perfect and the audiobook was fantastic.

I should never doubt my favorite authors and their ability to get me out of my comfort zone and love something I don’t normally read. Going into this book I was worried I wouldn’t be able to connect with the characters. I’m very much a MF reader but I knew I loved Kristen Granata’s FFM book so I wanted to give it a shot. I’m so glad I gave it a fair chance, their chemistry is 🔥 I love how different each character is. Chance is so grumpy, Stephen is a goof and Presley is so strong and the perfect girl for both of them. The way I swooned over these men. I swear I was kicking my feet and blushing. The steamy scenes are so HOT! It goes back and forth from past to present , with all of 3 POVs and done very well. ‘Ice Rivals’ is the perfect book to end this amazing series. I loved being back with the team and I’m so bummed it’s over.
I’m so happy I got to arc read this book!

I really liked the FMC she is feisty. The MMC was honestly too nice 🙈 at least in the beginning. The FMC held a grudge and he was just happy to be around her. Not the mood I’m in. I’ll come back to it later.

I chose to start this book while I was at school with my daughter. The amount of smiling and giggling and practically kicking my feet I’ve been doing probably has these college students concerned. Oh well 🤣 Lily is the hockey coaches daughter and the MMC is Cayden and he’s the “bad boy” with the rough past. Bully romances are hit or miss for me. This one is done perfectly. It’s the perfect amount of dark and I’m sorry but Cayden had me blushing 🤭 I loved the first 60% of the book and then it wasn’t giving me the same feels. I feel that if I had finished it in one day or two maybe it would have been different but I didn’t pick it back up for 4 days. When Cayden didn’t believe Lily about a certain thing that really ticked me off. He didn’t even give her a chance, he just thought she was lying and that was it. Regardless this is a good bully romance with great spice and storyline. The bullying is on the lighter side (IMO) so it could be a good beginner bully romance to read. I’m definitely going to read the authors Made Of Mayhem duet because Nikolai is a man I need to know more about 🔥

It’s cute but kind of all over the place. I don’t think I’ll be continuing with the rest of them.

I’m normally not a manga reader. I was at a card store with my family and came across this and thought it sounded cute. I requested them from the library. I got 6 of them to see if they draw me in. There is so much happening. I don’t feel like we will really get to know much about the characters at all. We will see.
